When she's first shown at the very beginning holding up her fists at the LK Temple, she has attachments along the sides. Either some sort of flame thrower or some sort of fired weaponry.

1. This is a good point and for the longest time I thought for sure confirmed Kenshi. All this could mean tho is Takeda doesn't look at his opponent when he does his telekinesis move animation. Also, it would kinda look awkward to do that pose while looking at the opponent, but i digress.

2. First off I never said anything about parents not playing a role in the game. Secondly, Jax will more than likely have a cameo in the story mode and has a good shot at just being a mere challenge tower mission, like Cyrax. The voice actor confirmation does not mean he is playable and FOR SURE does not mean Kenshi is playable.

3. Like you said in number 2, Jaquie seemingly has arm strength enhancements similar to Jax, like its obvious she is his daughter while still maintaining her own character. Cassie, while being an original character, has qualities from Sonya and Johnny (shadow moves, nut punch, military/ special forces moveset, etc). She is an obvious descendant of them. My point being, in MKX descendants are all about having something from their parents without being carbon copies. The Kitana/Sindel relationship was introduced long before this trend was even possible.

So then, what trademark things does Kenshi have that his offspring might use? Blindness, skilled swordsman, and telekinesis. Since he sure as fuck isn't blind that leaves the other two. So not only am I guessing Kenshi does NOT make the playable roster, I'm gonna take it a step further into crazy town and say Takeda has a variation where he pulls his head ban thing down to cover his eyes and uses mainly telekinesis.

Overall tho man,at the end of the day nether of us know. I'm guessing Kenshi is a favorite of yours and I'm not trying to rain on anybody's parade. I'm just saying I get the feeling he won't make the cut.

That's cool and all but I'll re-quote this come April. Kenshi's gonna be in. Not only does he have involvement with Takeda via the casting call, which we now know is true thanks to Kung Jin, but the trailer was also specifically designed and cut to focus only on the newbies. We know NRS Story Mode's feature chapters for pretty much all the good guys so we only got a little taste of whats to come. We haven't seen much of Sub, Scorpion, Johnny, Sonya, Raiden, Kung Lao, Kitana.... We also know that Ed confirmed we'll see characters post Trilogy playable and with the roster shaping up the way it is, anyone who thinks its anyone other than Quan, Shinnok and Kenshi are running on pure blind faith, no pun intended.

Main point being, this game is seemingly Special Forces heavy. Low and behold, Kenshi as well as Jax, Sonya and Johnny are all Special Forces now along with their kids. They're all gonna be playable. Mark my words.

LOL Sounds good. I'm just really betting on it because I can't see them putting any other post Trilogy characters in. If they do, I'd be ecstatic but I wouldn't bet money on it.

Takeda may be looking a little like Mavado visually, but... you know how people wanted to see a Scorpion variant that lets him whip his spear around like in Shaolin Monks? I think this might be Takeda's take on that. When he does the Fatality on Torr the whip does appear to have Scorpion-spear properties.

I'm not going to say I hate Takeda because his gameplay slightly resembles Mavado. I certainly hope Mavado is DLC at some point though. Easily the coolest 3D era character.

Sonya may be my favorite Fighter.
But i can handle her being out she has a daughter in it. If one of her styles involves Sonya her specials i am happy enough. And to be honest i hope she Will sit the next ones out if she really is not contributing to the story anymore.
I also wanted more mk4 characters like Fujin, Tanya etc.

Only two i really have enough of are sub zero and scorpion.
But that is because they always have the same story and drama.

Scorpion and Subby will always fight, But deep down inside they both love each other a lot :D.
