he sounds like hes just bullshitting. if he actually did playtest he's probably under a NDA so don't believe anything he says. why ruin your playtester gig over a character reveal that's 2 months away? either way i'd like black to be in.

James is a dude who used to work for Midway, he worked on a lot of the home ports of the early MK games. I also remember he wrote a couple of strategy guides for the games like this one



I talked to him a couple years ago and I remember him telling me about his days at Midway, but I think he quit or got fired or some shit. I highly highly doubt he would be working on MKX in any form, just because of his personality, he can come off as a major prick. He is definitely a controversial figure in the competitive MK community, and I don't think anything he says is a hint/evidence. Honestly I think he's an okay guy, he made attempts to run a weekly stream called the on blast show and they had some pretty cool guests like John Turk, Kerri Hoskins, and even John Tobias. I don't know if it's still going or not.

But I highly doubt anything he says is a hint or clue to anything, it's just his own speculation. Sorry guys

Knowing James MK, he meant the former. James is a huge part of the community, so he would have to know braindead was a nickname for Kenshi's playstyle.

I've listened to the On Blast Show a lot, and you know what this all sounds like? It sounds like he's fucking with people. Given his status, it's very possible he's spoken with the testers, but the way he writes his responses, I wouldn't be surprised if he's just drunk tweeting.

JamesMK as a credible source of NRS related info is laughable.

If anything, Erron Black being in the comic is a better indicator.
