Jade was killed in MK9 but they chose not to bring her back.

I could bet the farm that her mk9 ending will somehow play into this somewhere down the line. Of all the endings her's got people really talking.

Very odd ending and i would like the think that they have some big plans for her in the future. Especially considering how Kitana and Edeina develops in the future.

I am honestly really excited atthe possibility at finding out more, and what the "mysterious" women is, honestly it could be someone or something even more superior to the elder gods for all we know.

Wait, i just watched Kitana's ending and Jade makes an appearance!! I'm not gonna say more to not spoil anything. She isn't mentioned though, she's just seen.

I doubt they have any big plans for her, but she'll probably show up in the next game to have another female ninja to cycle out with Mileena.

Either way, she's a trilogy character. Expect to see her back next time or the time after that. Not even Sheeva or Stryker were gone forever.

Jade the Emerald Ghost, striking fear in evildoers and giving hope to the innocent. Who knows she might have had escaped from the Netherrealm bodily with some help from some demon (Ashrah or Sareena) and hid out in Earthrealm, in Earthrealmer clothing in plain sight all this time lol. Well she does the role as an Edenian version of a convert ops mercenary/bodyguard so I can't see why not. Hint: her Earthrealm clothing coincidently is green as plain sight to the gamers though the other protagonists don't recognize her the first time. If she comes back in MK11, give her a better badass personality and a voice like Ming Na-Wen (she actually voiced a character named Jade in the Spawn animated series coincidence?) or Sumalee Montano.

I always thought in my mind of a Jade and Taven pairing. Both are deadpan snarkers, Jade can play on Taven's naivety while he can play on her thickheaded stubbornness, both have tragic pasts, (ok every Edenian has a tragic past, but at least there's a mystery behind Jade's past: she was just sold by a noble family as tribute to Shao Kahn in her MK9 bio and trained to become an assassin that's it, not much info), and they can actually talk casually when they're out of the formal environment of Edenia since Taven is not really a stuckup elite demigod while Jade is a fierce assassin who can handle herself in the wild like they're actual human beings instead of cardboard cutouts. Possibly after being awakened, Taven and Jade can go throughout Outworld to find a lost relic that resurrects the dead (Onaga's heart?) in order for Jade personally to save her best friend Kitana from her evil queen self along with Liu Kang.

Thinking that woman in her ending saved her. Her death was the only one with gore too which is odd, but then again the scene with Johnny almost becoming a revenant implies that they're clones that still have their memories going by the ninjas and Jax's PTSD.
