Isnt it weird we havent seen MKX grace the cover of Game Informer?
Mortal Kombat has had a cover issue for each installment as far back as I can remember. I thought I read a tweet from @noobde months ago stating he just finished a photo shoot for GI. Maybe the April issue delivered in March will have it with some new exclusive reveals...

That has occurred to me too. I love Game Informer and they seem to be fans of MK there. They recently did a Super Replay of Shaolin Monks. I think I actually got introduced to Game Informer when they first did their Replay of MK Mythologies,
I see Andrew Reiner tweet with Boon from time to time, but I never saw that tweet you mentioned with the photo shoot. That would be cool though. I remember Injustice was one of the covers they did before that came out, but it was one of many covers that month.

I still remember when I first found about Deadly Alliance through Game Informer. I didn't have internet at the time but had a subscription to the magazine. I flipped my shit when I got that month's issue and the cover story was about a new Mortal Kombat with a brand new design of Scorpion on the front. I still remember how that issue revealed Drahmin, Bo Rai'Cho, 'Blind Kenshi'(the Blind part was later dropped) and 'Malvado'(it was later changed to Mavado).

"Malvado" means that you're someone evil in portuguese.

It's not surprising at all. Fighting games are so far under the mainstream radar these days, major publications don't give two fucks about them.

They will probably give MKX a cover when it hits March or April.
