I can imagine there's a Kombat Pack 2 going to be released, along with occasional costume packs, much like the ones released for MK 9, Classic skins for a few of the characters along with some themed ones.

It means that we have a hope to see Reiko,Fujin,Li mei,Havik and Frost !Yet I am really disappointed for Jade 's non-inclusion you know most of the deaths come back but she didn't !That is not fair !

Everyone always says they want more DLC but the ONLY way we well ever get more after the kombat pack is ppl need to buy the kombat pack. If sales r really good then they will release more DLC. Its a business n its understandable from their point. I cant imagine how many millions of dollars this game cost. I will buy everything they give us cuz they gave us a great product with alot of kool kontent in it.

I just feel on there and with so many great characters being left out of the main roster that they have a big opportunity here with DLC.

I'm sure there will be. Notice how the game isn't even out yet and yet ALL of the Kombat Pack is fully known? That didn't happen with MK9, they kept just about everyone who was DLC quiet for a while. Though I still think they just revealed it all because it was in the process of leaking anyway.

But there's really no excuse for us not to get more DLC? It's not greedy, it's good business. Think about it, there's going to be at least another 4 years before MK11 is released, why only release 4 DLC characters and leave fans hungry for that long? It would be wise to rack up the cash and keep fans entertained for at least a year after MKX's initial release. I mean come on. A second or third character pack is smart.

Ultimately, I'd love to end up with about 36 playable characters after all the DLC.

I don't think that's too farfetched considering we know the full Kombat Pack prior to launch. They've already got the base models, at least a handful of their moves programmed, and they're going to continuously support the game post release for months to come. I'm starting to think we'll get 8 DLC vs 6, which was my original guess.

So 28 initially, +8 DLC.

As for the topic's question, every DLC character will eventually be available to purchase separately. It may take a while, so they can wear you down into finally buying the pack though. So this will be one of those "patience is a virtue" moments.

Ed said that the roster would be at least as big as MK9, We have 25 characters 26 including Goro 4 Dlc: 30 characters. MK9 had 32 including Kratos. Im only hopping for 2 more Dlc characters outside de Kombat Pack. Of course 4 would Blown my head off.
