I remember pre-Deception interviews where Boon and company were pretty excited for Darrius too. Sometimes there seems to be a disconnect between what Nether Realm thinks we want, and what we actually want.

That said, I'm not too excited to play as Ferra Torr, but I do respect what they've done with the character(s). Its a really cool concept that hasn't ever been done before. I'll reserve my final judgement until I see it in game, but they definitely stand out.
To be fair, Darrius had a swank ass alt and fatality.

Why does everyone hate them so much? I like them. I mean, they're definitely not my favorite but they're not as bad as everyone puts them put out to be. I really like the idea that torr uses ferra as a weapon. That's hella legit!

I personally think they're great characters, I love they're Character designs. Plus it's kinda unfair to trash them this soon when none of you guys have played them yet.
I think they're great.

D'vorah and Ferra/Torr will always have a special place in my memory of the MKX trailer "Who the hell are these freaks? I kinda like them!"

Ferra/Torr is a breath of fresh air to the roster,gonna try them when the game is out.

Never done before,lol,Ferra/Torr's concept isnt original at all,Golden Axe : Revenge of Death Adder featured Goah,a giant with the dwarf Gilius on his back,but it's not the only game/media where this concept is shown.

Poor guy.

Knocks up some lady, inadvertently becomes an absentee dad, goes blind, blows his cover, baby mama gets murdered, son doesn't like him, constantly gets lost, can't get dressed properly, etc.

They have not been shown at all and the fact that a pairing is somwhat an oddity in MK. I think those two reasons are the primary reasons why the lack of interest.

We know nothing of their motives or background. In the last KombatKast they said they will expand on them soon.

I personally like them despite the lack of information. I had the opportunity to try them out last September and they were very fun to play with.

They're my least favorite of the Kotal Gang but they're definitely better than some of the 3D era characters that's for sure.

Ferra/Torr, thus far, is one of my favorite additions to the roster. I cant wait till they get a little love in a future Kombat Kast.
