Intro/Opening Cinematic, and Endings?

May that be like Sonya and Shao Kahn that get killed off. Sonya because we have Cassie and Shao Kahn because we have a new ruler. Quan Chi is his name. The new bearer of souls. He absorbs their souls!

I am expecting to see a cinematic intro right when you boot up the game for the first time.. kind of like deadly alliance where it showed how lui was killed and quan and shang became the deadly alliance.
I wouldnt be surprised if something similar to this happened and we see one of the iconic characters being killed off to set the background for the story.

Like Boon said before... the inclusion of one character doesn't mean another is out
The intro will show the aftermath of MK9, showing Quan Chi pissing into Shao kahn's helmet like it was a night bowl.
Thn Boon will personally appear and figuratively desecrate the dead remains of your expectations, and only then will you be able to play the game. Because MKO is a glutton for punishment.

Me too. And honestly, I miss Konquest but that's a whole other can of worms.
I love the idea of having BOTH the moving comic type endings of MK9 and CG clips.

With the absence of one in MK9, I'm wondering if they have a full CG intro prepared for MKX. One that isn't part of story mode but sets everything up. With the talk of this being the most brutal kombat experience, I'd say there will be(and hope there will be) plenty of cinematics.
How would you like to see these in MKX?
As for endings : I miss the MK4 style endings, easily the best IMO. I'm hoping they'll do something similar with greater detail.
I felt MK9's story mode was good, but cheesy. Especially since the character models were all way too similar. But that's a whole other can of worms.
Anyways what are your expectations and hopes for the sequences in MKX?

Im all about CG and cinematic. With the new power of the next gen systems i can't wait to see them.
My expectations are for a CG Cinematic intro similar the debut trailer.
Of course having cinematics throught the story line.
And yes for their endings, I want them to be like MK4 but obvious look like Tekken 6 ending. But obviously mean something lol

Endings similar to the ones in MK9, no half assed animated endings. Tekken/SFEX/MK4 endings are a joke.

Boon did say we would get a more cinematic presentation of Mortal Kombat in this game.
