I found a forum where this is being discussed. A hi-res image of both the cover and Table of Contents exist.

Looks like a comprehensive guide to MK, a "bible" if you will. Covering the franchise history, games history, interviews with gamemakers, game guide, bio information, discussion on the films, and even the favorite fatalities.

Doesn't look like anything special, typical guide that used to come with game magazines.

I would LOVE a legit Official "Kombat Kompendium" though, something like "The World of Ice and Fire" that goes into great detail about the history of the realms, previous tournaments, arenas/locations, past wars, species, Elder Gods etc...I'd pay damn good money for that shit!

Sold.

Although this is still pretty cool. I sure as hell can't read French, but muh sis can, so that won't even matter.
