That was the worst reveal video so far.

Not saying it was bad because the others were so great. IGN player sucks. It was like the characters are fighting in syrup not air.

Reptile looks garbage. Worst costume I have seen so far in MKX and his moves and X-ray look like updates instead of the other returning chracters, who got totally new moves.

He looks incredible! The gameplay looks so fast and smooth!
Reptile sure loves to mess up people's eyes doesn't he!
I thought the intro was hilarious, I actually laughed out loud.

After watching it a few more times;

Postives:
- His move-set looks good and fluid from the little gameplay we witnessed. I'm sure we'll see tons more with the new character, Kung Lao and Kitana on the stream to make a better judgment.
- His X-Ray is interesting. I'm guessing Reptile has a thing for people's faces in this game.
- His fatality is gross, guessing he crushes the skull with his bare hands as its melting away. Knowing NRS and how they have to over-do the fatalities, I'm sure there's something else afterwards. Maybe he eats it?
- The textures on his skin and what we can see of his face look way better than in MK9. Next-gen graphics really showing their stuff here.

Negatives:
- Costume isn't really doing it for me. Not sure if it's the fact he looks like he came out of some nightmare-ish version of The Flintstones or what but I'm not digging all the bones or teeth or whatever it is that makes up his outfit.

Watch your mouth. It's a trilogy reveal. It's impossible for it to suck you troll. Just don't buy this game if you Can't respect a character from the only era that matters in mk. Trilogy FTW!

Reptile looks good. I like the sort of "bone collar" thing, and the move variety is nice. I mean wow, can he do ALL of that stuff in one variation? I wouldn't think so.

Really liked the tongue grab! Probably my favorite part. Really hope it's a command grab and you can manually strike or do other stuff off of it.

Either way, a solid character. Still want more post trilogy / non-MK9 characters tho, but this is nice and very well executed.

Crazy though how many MKDA returnees there are so far! Quan Chi, Raiden, Scorpion, Sub Zero, Reptile, Kano, Kitana and Kung Lao, with Kenshi heavily rumored.

Yeah that intro is hilarious... boy sure loves poking peoples eyes.

I'm glad they updated his MK9 look, it's the best of both worlds... ninja and saurian, still green lizard underneath.

Anyone notice the background was different. This time in the Kove there is a burning ship?

Eh...cool I guess. I think it's interesting Reptile is using his tongue more during combat and such. Just don't have any excitement for this reveal. Didn't do anything for me.

You're obviously not an Mk fan then. if you Can't respect and enjoy a trilogy era reveal than why are you even here. Trilogy is all that matters. Trilogy FTW!

The next thing they should anounce Baraka to round up roster of characters (most) everybody sick of.

Everything about this trailer was BOOOOOOOOOOOOORING, with bold B. Reptiles costume was broing, his moveset, seemingly unchanged from MK9 was broing and his presence in this game is a waste of slot.

I would have been OK with anounce of Tsung or Mileena, at least those two are genuinly interesting characters and could had interesting role in the story, , then eternal lackey-crocodile bag.

Anyway, we 2 characters away from MKDA classic characters roster.

Just glad I'm not the only one who believes the 3d era is getting shafted. Even your boy kenshi looks unlikely.

Highly doubtful. Not to toot my own fandom horn or anything but he and Quan are basically the poster boys for the post Trilogy era. I'm not worried at all about Kenshi, especially considering the motion capture picture. I still think Fujin is gonna make it purely based on him having so many appearances in the comic thus far and Raiden saving him from another one of his ignorant blunders. After that from post Trilogy, who knows... maybe Shinnok and Bo since the Netherealm War has to take place in story mode and Bo was mentioned for the web sieries based on the game and then the rest given to spots in the DLC line-up. But still, 4-5 is better than nothing.

That all depends on how many people are in the game if we only get 24 i doubt we get 5 3d characters.

At this point, it's definitely going to be more than 24. I think 24 was maybe what they were initially aiming for at the beginning of the games production and then I think they more than likely decided to add in the revenants for more of a "fan favorite" selection in between some picks for the fans of the 3D era (since we know Fujin was close to being DLC last time around as well as Tanya) and we're getting new characters this time around, too. For the amount of new characters and returning 3D characters, they feel the smart thing is to even it out with returning Trilogy characters. It's basic logic. Try to get the casuals as well as the hardcores equally happy.

Getting back on topic though the trailer didn't do anything for me. Wish they would have broken down his variations in depth. Probably saving it for the stream so no big deal.

Hoping they reveal more new characters. I was pretty excited with the great characters they were developing, but now that they've been revealing bread and butter characters, with reptile being perhaps the most similar to past iterations, I've been less excited.
