posted06/01/2014 09:11 PM (UTC)byMadameBordellaI seriously hated encountering those damned things while wandering the 2011 one. Nothing wrong with giving the place a creepy atmosphere, I just didn't like having those fuckers jump out at me at random times.

Ed, please add more screamers. In Krypt, in Options, in Lobbies, everywhere!

During fights, especially while you're trying to do a fatality.

I yelled pretty fucking loud when I first encountered one. Since then, I browsed the Krypt on mute and slightly looking away with one eye on the tv and the other closed.

After I first time I saw the fucking thing, I muted the sound and covered every part of the screen but the bottom so that I could read what coffin I was on while clearing the rest of the Krypt out.
And never went in there again.
It's kinda like Ed doesn't want us to be able to take our time and appreciate all the hard work the artists and programmers went to in creating the environment and all those animations. I'm told that some of them are guillotines that cut a victim's head off when you click them and stuff like that, but I never fucking saw it because I'm not interested in heart attacks. Might as well have made the fucking Krypt a spreadsheet for all I saw of the place.
I almost feel like screamers are a form of assault and I should be able to press charges.

I loved the screamers, I hope they come back.
I nearly shit myself and never went in unless I had a decent amount of koins, and I still had one eye closed. I still appreciate the art, but they made a really cool place into somewhere I never went in. Even when i play MK9 I never go back in the krypt, and it's a damn shame. So no, I don't want a jumpscare.

LOL I think I remember them. Anyway I loved the layout of the krypt, it was deliciously terrifying and fascinating. I love how the stuff was hidden inside the rotting corpses that were around rather they were hanging from dead trees or floating in a lake of blood- good times.
I just hated how there was very little "good stuff" in the Krypt to unlock.

I only ran into one screamer in MK9's Krypt. It even popped out when I wasn't looking at the screen and saw it right before it left. I still vote no screamer anyone, they can be annoying.
