Liu Kang is probably the ? which im guessing unlocks after story mode or something, like in MK9.

Because they made it pretty OBVIOUS, they didn't tell us ANYTHING about Liu Kang, it's almost like they are trying to hide him, which they are.

So Liu Kang is the secret character, I actually think this doesn't make him a secret anymore, but whatever.

I have no problem with Liu Kang being the secret character or being in this game, I always believed Liu Kang is the heart of MK, so I'm happy he is in.

I'm still not totally convinced that they would include characters like Shinnok or Liu in skin packs with other characters if they are unlockable.

I would jump up wih joy if the secret unlockable character is Fujin. They really must be really trying to keep him a secret if he is playable.

i feel you on that, but if he is then there would be a extra slot for the select screen , because my guess is that he would be the "?" on select screen then

Basically this. The question mark will either be moved or be a character. If it's a character it leaves a extra slot open which would mean there is one more character. I imagine goro will be moved or something and all the dlc will go there or just have there own spots.

Hey I would be SUPER happy if I'm wrong about this and there is still one more character nobody knows about, a character that they managed to keep a secret. It'll be AWESOME, but I highly doubt it, only 23 days to find out :).

Liu Kang is the worst unlockable ever. At least to me.
Always has been one of my absolute least favorite characters in all of MK.

I don't think Liu will be the secret fight but I am almost 100% certain he will be the unlockable character after story mode I reckon he will be the cyber sub zero of this game introduced late in the story as a surprise that no one was meant to see coming! Very disappointing if you ask me however his inclusion makes 24 so there is still hope they move Goro and there is one more secret charcater but I am just hoping against hope now

I understand what you're saying, Liu Kang isn't my favourite either, but I can't help but feel the guy is the heart of MK, I like how in MK9 they put the MK Dragon on his outfit(I know he also had it in MKVSDC but fuck that game).

I find Liu Kang to be a likeable character even if he is no where near my favourite, I just feel that if MK has to include a character that goes through all the games, it's Liu. I just find it fitting that Liu Kang is the champion, he is powerful after all, he managed to defeat Shao Kahn/Shang Tsung.

This is a very possible outcome since they did the same thing to Mortal Kombat 9. During the demo's at E3 and further down before the release of the game they had a random button in the select screen but removed it on the final version with a character filling the spot. So its quite possible they might do that again giving us an extra character. Here's hoping.

I'm pretty sure the ? slot is for DLC. Also if they use the current select screen, everyone including Goro, Shinnok and Liu would fit with the existing boxes, leaving the ? in the top center.

This. There's always a small chance they snuck in one more character we know nothing about but it's a very small, slim, almost nonexistent chance.
