So let's see when did the bad guys win..


MK DA: the tarkatans slaughter everyone frm the heroes, save Frost and Sub-Zero, Kitana and Kung Lao get killed by the Deadly Alliance.

MKA: Shao Kahn wins the race for the pyramid and rips Raiden a new asshole.

MK9: the Brotherhood of Shadow basically trolls the entire universe and dickslaps everyone with a Tsunged-up Sindel, Shao Kahn being dealt with as an idiot, and Motaro being made into a Subway sandwich.


I wouldn't say that the bad guys have never won yet.

What do you mean with "if"? Of course there will be a story mode. They already talked about it in some interviews, confirming it.

As for the bad guys getting some limelight... I want ALL the characters to get some, no matter their alignment.

Yup. I totally agree with this. It's the Story that has kept us interested in the game as far as I am concerned.

Well, the villains in MK 2011 were pretty much the only ones that came out on top aside from a select few. And I do mean FEW.

But I know what you mean and I certainly hope they get better treatment then simply being idiotic punching bags.

It was quite disheartening seeing the Shokan being treated as simple grunts guarding a swat team in a random clock tower. I mean is that really a task for Goro prince of the Shokan and general of the armies of Outworld?

Or Reptile just being goon number one for the heroes to beat up in the tournament. Instead of being this illusive spy keeping tabs on everyone for Shang. And on the subject of the tournament, I thought it was called Mortal Kombat? Loser dies not loser goes back to his spot with his tail between his legs.

Or what about Baraka Mr. Fierce of the Fierce Tarkatan warriors being nothing more then a simple minded idiot in the story mode who is constantly scoffed at and called a dog.

Let's see these guys have some dignity this time and actually see them as competent warriors.

Only Shang Tsung and Shao Kahn died... Even Goro and Kintaro survived!

Noob Saibot probably survived, you didn't really saw him die.

I think the bad guys did it better than the good-guys, who almost all died.

I want to play as the bad-guys, they have fans too, if the storymode is as bad as MK2011, then I won't even play the storymode and ignore it.

I hate much, but few things as much as the silly storymode in mk2011

Sindel too...just throwing that in there don't mind me.

Overal, Sindel has been more good than evil, she died evil tho, I give you that much. But still Sindel is pretty much a good character being corrupted or resurrected evil.

I'm more concerned if the good guys will be smart enough to kill the bad guys after a fight. How many times are you going to fight Baraka, Reptile, and Sheeva and let them live.

I'd like to see every character having a chapter. The good, neutral and evil must or should have chapter spotlight as to being playable and not just cameo meat.
