NRS is going to determine who's in or not by whom they feel is most compatible with the game and/or the storyline, not another dime-a-dozen tier list that people feel the need to pull out of their asses.

This "tier" BS goes all the way back to MKII and I despised it even then. I'm tired of these tournament players and their swelled egos.

The list the OP is referring to is about character usage, not a tier list but you tried it.

About Me

Keep dunking your Kenshi breadsticks into your Skarlet sauce, people! The main course isn't coming for a while, and you never know when it's going to be disappointing.

Tiers are meant to represent characters who have the best 'match-ups' against opposing characters. The characters who win out best against other characters gets a higher placement on the tier list. However, these 'match-ups' consider the abilities and counters of each character when they are played "AT THE MAXIMUM CAPABILITY THAT THEY CAN BE PLAYED TO", which is near impossible for human beings because we do not have that fast of a reaction time.

To sum up: It's a ranking of characters tested by what characters dominate other characters when played at their fullest potential, a potential that is very difficult for human beings to reach.

It's all science and math. It's effective in the sense that people who pick a character from the highest tier will require less effort than characters in lower tiers. They're much more guidelines to 'suggest' what characters are most effective.

Truth be told: If you're good with a character, stick to that character. Even better if you manage multiple characters.

All of this. I dominated with Sheeva online even though she was considered trash. Tier lists dont mean shit. If a character's playstyle suits you, it suits you. End of the story.

Well, I kinde hope this tier-shit is true, because that would explain why all my favorite characters in MK9 ended up so low in the play-lists.

Mileena and Sektor most of all. They are just hard to controll, and only real good players can control them.

And not because they are hated or disliked, they are just too difficult for them losers to control lol. So they go with the easy to controll ones that have profit against all others in the game like the MK1 characters minus Kano.

Yeah the definition of tiers I like is you having to work harder to win with lower tiered characters.

I win with Sindel and Mileena but I feel like I'm struggling the whole time lol.
