I think she definitely will. I hope Kung Jin or whatever makes an appearance though, unless that was just for the Web Series.

While she appears to be more of a sidekick to Cassie at the moment, remember Raiden's last vision on issue 3 shows Jacqui training with Jax, she kinda looks older in that too.

So, I don't see her dying anytime soon. She'll probably have a more important part in those later chapters.

It seems likely Erron Black is Salazar... Hopefully so.

Kung Jin might come off as a clone or hopefully that's a temporary name like possibly Salazar-to-Erron.

Ron Tan Cho... I don't know much about him. Who knows, maybe he's the archer...

Jacqui would be ideal to add more females, especially African American women which aren't common. Why do I think her mother is Gemini from Special Forces. I actually kind of called it that Jax would have a daughter though for some reason. Her image during Raiden's flash-forwards seems to imply she'll be moving on from Kickboxing...

Forest Fox is iffy since he's dead unless whoever possessed him becomes playable.

Takeda is the most likely of all known newbies to appear if Kenshi's absent.

What's weird about Ron Tan Cho is that he doesn't sound like a fighter.

More like disposable villain for the webseries.

I will say just a word about why Jacqui doesn't have to be playable and probably won't be:

Don't tell me you think killing off a promising character that happens to be related to Jax is the only way to give him a story.

Plus why did Jacqui have to be Jax's daughter anyway? I'm worried that it'd prove more of an hindrance to her character than anything. Not every next generation fighters have to be related to the old guard.

I'm of the opinion that Jacqui doesn't show any promise...yet.

Takeda and Jacqui are just there while Cassie is unique in that her attitude isn't even her fathers. But Jacqui is literally just female Jax right down to playing sidekick for her.

So if they were to kill her off to turn Jax into Murtaugh out on Revenge for his daughter's killer, I'm all for it.

She will make the cut. Need another female to beat Cassie to a bloody pulp.



What does Hydro have anything to do with Jacqui?

He was a comic character, far more interesting than Jacqui and with way more unique powers and abilities.

He was there just to put more bodies in the story as sometimes you need more than the playable cast to tell the story and not all those NPC have to be subpar guys, sometimes they can be powerful guys like Hydro.

It's like saying Sonya's partner killed by Kano is going to return because death doesn't mean anything in Mortal Kombat and he was supposedly on Sonya's level.

IMO Jacquie is there to help tell a story and offer some support to the main cast, but like Hydro, she won't be playable.

Many are saying she's an automatic inclusion because she's the daughter of a character and is in the comic, but Hydro was like Smoke, a friend of Sub-Zero and company with cool unique powers, which sets a precedent of these kind of characters not being in the game.

Her mere inclusion adds to the MK Universe whether she's playable or not. Before this comic, you didn't know Jax had a daughter. Now you do, and you know her name and what she does.

Every little thing in this comic has done wonders for expanding the MK universe. Before it, we didn't know what Sonya's team looked like or if she even had a specific team. We didn't know there was an MMA deathmatch arena. We didn't know Kotal had a father, now we now what kind of relationship they had and what happened to change that relationship.

Every good story needs minor characters. Not saying Jacqui is a minor character though, I believe she'll be playable and thus a major character.

Was it not also heavily implied, at least by the achievement leak, that there would be multiple family relationships within the playable cast--as in, more than Cassie and whomever of her parents she brings along?

To me that strongly suggests at least either Kenshi and Takeda or Jax and Jacqui.

I'd rather her die in the comic, giving Jax and Cassie some motive.

But If she is in the game, I really hope she is in the Black Dragon, having been playing Cassie like a fiddle this whole time. This twist would also give Jax some added motive.

I mean she could be a good character theres just nothing unique about her except lineage , and adding robot legs or arms just make her a kobra/kira scenario . Though im pro anything with more black characters so if its between her and the bad characters from the 3d era ill go with her all day long , like I said I just want her to shape something in the Mortal Kombat universe for herself .

If she doesn't make the cut, than oh well. Hopefully, in MK 11

She can also play somewhat like T.J Combo from KI.

Yeah we've seen a lot more of Cassie and her personality and what she has to offer. If all we saw of her was what she's done in the comic she'd be just as bland.
