idea for new box art and concepts.

this just an idea so i hope no one gets the wrong idea about change. mk could be a little refreshing if there were some changes to the franchise. this is just my views.

logo - instead of the dragon that we are all familiar with why not a snake or tiger. something from the chiense zodiac to still give it that mk style and look. other animals are the rabbit, horse, sheep, monkey, rooster, dog, boar, rat, and the ox from the chiense zodiac.

name - instead of spelling mortal kombat the way we always see it why not mortal combat with a c instead of a k.

features - entirelly new fully interactive enviorments. 2 returning characters sub - zero and scorpion along with a brand new cast of characters. character edit mode. create a fighter. online compataibility. an enhanced tournament mode along with all previous modes except for mini games and side modes. cinamatic endings for all characters. 2 new fatalitys per character.

coming to ps3, x-box 360, and the nintendo wii consoles.

Why not just make a whole new game completely that isn't MK then with the ideas you're spewing.

Geez, I've been a member since MKDA was just a pic of Scorpion and Jax looking at each other and I have less than 2,000 visits. I should really log in more...

Why does it always boil down to Sub-Zero and Scorpion? Seriously, there are SIXTY-TWO other characters. You want to shake MK up a bit? Don't change the logo, don't change the "K"...just kill Sub and Scorp off. Period.

Though I'm pretty sure there would be ample amounts of complaints.
*Flashback to the "ninja-less" MK3 followed shortly by the "ninja spectacular" UMK3.*

Because they're the most known characters of the game. I mean, seriously, if you ask someone randomly who knows Mortal Kombat, ask them to name two characters in it and the first two would mostly be "Scorpion and Sub-Zero."

Yeah, you might get some people who will name others, but majority of those you'll ask will say these two. That and, I guess they're just the two characters that were known to have a rivalry against each other, and basically they're somewhat mascots of the game.

I forgot who's bio actually said that, either Sub-Zero or Scorpion, but I also recall something about Kitana and Mileena... Meh, I'm just rambling on and on, point is, they're just two big characters that everyone likes most of the time.

Yeah, I see what you're saying. Most of the people I talk to instantly name drop Sub and Scorp right off the bat. Some mention Liu Kang but, geez, he was the Champion of Mortal Kombat so yeah.

I guess the fact of the matter is there will never be a future MK without those two. Hell, if I remember correctly, Boon actually said that Scorpion would always be there (his favorite character I believe).

But anways, back on the topic of the thread. Killing off everyone but Sub and Scorp I guess could make sense, Scorpion's already dead and if Sub-Zero's ending from MKA came true he could be a god. Raiden would also have to stick around, playable or not, because he's a god. Maybe Shinnok too.

The biggest change would be gameplay, it still seems stiff and behind other fighters in terms of depth. They'd need to take more notes from other series and incorporate them without feeling like they're ripping them off completely.
