Many people say some characters lack storyline or character depth, well i think it would be a great idea (if done correctly) make a game wear youo choose a character, but isntead fight, you play that persons story. One thing it could do is give characters more personality (theres only so much a few pics and some guy reading to you can do), and if your character is a older character, yuo get the nostalga (spelling?) factor in going "omg i remeber that!" Obviously, some characters that have been introduced, would not have a long a story as say a Sub Zero, butthat would be a great way to show that characters back story.

Like take....Kobra for instance. You start as just some thug on the streets, beating people down for money or something like that, and Kabal tells you of the idea of the new Black Dragon and gives you a few iniataion missions to make sure you fit the bill.

Sorry if this idea has been done before and i look like a jack ass re-using about 30 other peoples idea, but i think it would do some justice to many of the characters.

That idea is pretty neat, it is similar to the idea I had towards a sequel to Shaolin Monks.

thanks. i think it would be good to maybe like, un lock pre-storys for certain characters to, like...finish kabals story, and un lock a pre-mk black dragon story. or finsh kanos, and play up to wera he gets his robot eye. or complete scorpion, and play until his death by Sub Zero, maybe go into the shirai rryu story a little deeper.

The next adventure game should be based off Reptile, but we all know its going to be Scorpion Ed Boons favorite dude.

I forgive you, this exact same idea has been said like 50 times before but i still think its a good idea

but it would probably take up to much memory the wii wouldn't be able to handle it.The xbox360 would probably be able to and definately the PS3

Here was an idea that I had previously posted on this website but has been lost with the times.

As a sequal to Shaolin Monks I would have a game based off of MK3, during the time of Shao Kahn's invasion of Earthrealm. The title of this game would be MK: Chosen Warriors and you would play as the Earthrealm warriors who had their souls protected from Shao Kahn.

You would be able to play as 8 characters but would initially start out with 4: Liu Kang, Sonya, Sub-Zero, and Stryker.

Completing the game with Liu Kang you unlock: Kung Lao

Completing the game with Sonya you unlock: Jax

Completing the game with Sub-Zero you unlock: Nightwolf

Completing the game with Stryker you unlock: Kabal

Each of these characters follow their own unique story that is broken up into chapters. The game would span into eight chapters that depict The invasion of Earthrealm, The character's journey, Their purpose, and the final assault on Kahn's tower. Every character that was featured in Mortal Kombat 3 would have big roles to play in this game. For instance during a chapter in Sub-Zero's story you would run into Cyrax and Sektor and would have to fend for your life, they would re-appear through the game and you would have to fend for your life while at the same time fight against Kahn's troops. Liu Kang would never run into Cyrax or Sektor and neither would Nightwolf because they follow their own stories and meet unique characters along the way in their storyline.

After completing the game with every character you unlock a v.s. mode that features all the characters of the UMK3 cast to be controllable.

I like the idea
But heres mine. What I would like to see is a game that is a mix of mortal kombat and the Elder Scrolls games. Like make an Elder Scrolls type of game but put in the MK universe. So if you want to you could play as a Lin Kuei warrior, or as a Shaolin monk, or as a netherrealm oni ect.,and traverse the realms and strengthen your character, and meet the people from the MK universe. So in a nut shell my idea is to take the konquest mode and give its own game and make it just longer and better and totally customizable.
