I posted a suggestion for what Midway could include on an MK compilation a few years ago. I haven't had a chance to keep bugging people about it because I was in college at the time. Anyway, here goes again. All the versions of the classic games I've had a chance to look at so far have been off. Midway could release a compilation that includes MK1, MK2, MK3, Ultimate MK3, MK4 and maybe MK Mythologies as an unlockable. Extras could include Making Of videos (I've seen footage of one for MK3 and one for MK4,) old commercials, a Bio Viewer and Ending Viewer for each game, a Jukebox option that would let you listen to the music from each game, and movies of all the finishing moves for all the characters in each game. Midway could also scan in old magazine articles and print ads. The booklet that comes with the game could include artwork and move lists for all the games. Maybe Midway could get G4 to let them include the Icons episode about Mortal Kombat. They could also include the opening movies from MK Deadly Alliance, MK Deception, MK Shaolin Monks, and MK Armageddon. Midway should make the compilation themselves instead of handing it off to another company. All the ports I've looked at have had audio problems, missing moves, and other distracting glitches that take away from the enjoyment and nostalgia.
