I REALLY hope the screams are better in MKX!

Seriously Boon, I know you read the threads on this forum going by your tweets, you seriously need to make sure the screams sound just as brutal as the fatality. I think most people would agree, the screams in MK9 were ridiculous. Come on, if you pull someone threw a saw, u better believe they are gonna scream bloody murder lol or n especially when u knock them into a acid pool which is a slow death. You got the technology now to make the fatalities look so real you cringe, you gotta have the screams to match it. These were awesome

Would it not make more sense to give us examples of terrible voice acting in the most recent previous game?

Sheesh...



And the obnoxious screams is what brought humor to MK's fatalities. Average people can recognize MK screams from miles away.

I was just thinking that the screams in MK3 were the best ones and wanted them or something like them to come back.

I dunno...

When I heard Scorpion scream when Kotal Khan did his fatality to him it really sounded painful. For the first time in a while the scream sounded convincing.

Where is that one? Nevermind the gameplay one, yeah that one was pretty good but they ALL need to be that one. MK9 Mileena had good screams but most werent realistic at all

You're right about that. The couple of last Mks were not very good at their screams. They don't have to be realistic persé, but at least make it so we "feel" their pain. Like the Kung Lao MK9 fatality mentioned, I would 've expected a much bigger scream from that. More terror in them.

Anyway, can't hear the screams very well in de the gameplay vids of MKX, so I'm keeping fingers crossed.

it's true, the fatality is more rewarding when you hear that over the top scream like Sonya or Sheeva from MK3, I can see how easy it could be for a development team to overlook such a thing whilst putting so much effort into other important areas but I too believe the sounds can make all the difference,

MK3 was the best for sounds and music, the MK3 select screen music flowed smoothly and was catchy, the sound when selecting a character was much better too.

Like they spell combat with a K, its so unrealistic... Cmon it's MK, it should make no sense.

I never felt as though the fatality screams were an issue that needed addressing.
