dont know about you guys, but i enjoyed the simplicity in pulling of a fatality in MKSM, i think something like that in a future game would be wicked..

By this do you mean the ability to buitd your fatality meter than once full be able to bull it off once the opponent is stunned? I like the idea of having to fight well in order to get the reward of being able to pull of a fatality but I still think it should be left until the end of two victorious rounds, not something that could potentially be pulled off halfway through the first.
It could be something that you can do when the opponent is about to loose the last round.

When they have like 25 to 30& life left.

How much life it takes depends on the complexity of the move.

Have it be a lethal match ender, kind of like the fatalities in Killer instinct.

There could be a special fatality, that can only be done when the opponent has like 5-10 % life left.

So it's hard to pull it off.

They could have some of the regular moves become fatalities automatically if it's the last hit of the round. The animation could change once the move connects.

well no i wasnt thinking of a stunner, although that could work.
i was thinking of a input screen that comes up, similiar to that of MKSM.

punch in the codes you remember from konquest mode or some other mode.

Although the stunner could work, i was thinking a better idea would be to have 2 fatality input screens come up (kinda like a split screen) and have one person inputting their fatality, and the other pulling of a harakiri.
