Okay so since this new game will be approaching offly close to the 25th anniversary I have an idea on how to add a little fan service into the game. Due to the fact that the klassic costume packs were pretty popular I say we bring them back in a big way. Over the years I've noticed that ever since MKII it has been a tradition in the franchise to always create a new costume for any established character within every subsequent sequel. So this time for Mortal Kombat 10, instead of making new costumes for all of the characters, just bring back the old ones instead.

When the game starts, all of the established characters (those in the roster who have appeared in at least 5 games or more) start off with a base selection of three costumes. The characters who have only been in one or two games receive the costumes from the respective entries that they appeared in as well. As the player progresses throughout the game, they can unlock more and more costumes for each character via beating the game, challenge ladders, krypt rewards, tutorial rewards and so on and so forth.

I also think in the sake of fareness after the story mode has been beaten players have the chance to go back and use any costume they have unlocked thus far in their current progress. What do you guys think? Think this idea has a chance to gain any traction
