Why would he be evil if the two people he hates are forgiven? How would he be able to reunite with his family if they're dead? I don't really like your idea.

I see what you are doing there. Trying to get a bad-ass Scorpion walking around, while you put the heart and soul that the Scorpion character has developed into a more human protagonist character. The idea is sound in what it is trying to accomplish, but I think the execution of it is a bit shoddy, no offense.

Scorpion realizing that revenge is keeping him from ascending to the Heavens is a great way to remove Scorpion from the games. He cannot be killed, so logically, making peace with things is the only way he can go. If some sorcerer or someone somehow (that's a lot of some's) harnessed the Scorpion entity after Hanzo's soul advanced to the Heavens (which doesn't really make sense, because if Scorpion is anything he is a soul, albeit a troubled one, then it might give Hanzo a reason to return, which could lead into the Elder Gods' Champion storyline that some people loved (I wouldn't include myself in that group).

However, one big flaw with it is that the same thing sort of happened recently with Liu Kang -- his body started walking and his spirit came back to stop it.
