Meh, we already have two cyborgs, and I have to disagree, I think Smoke made his best showing in MKSM. Check it out sometime. I do agree about Noob, though. Turning him into SZ would be stupid and a waste.

Well I have to say that I would despise the idea of Noob coming back as Sub-Zero. Noob has already accomplished a lot as a wraith. And the evil character style fits him like a wristwatch. Besides I think Noob is one of the only ones left on the roster that can build a mystique around the game and add that dark element to the game.
Besides we already have two characters of the ice element that are Frost and the new Sub-Zero we don't need anymore.
As for the human smoke idea I like it. Because having him express human emotions adds a lot more depth to the character.

I am not saying to make Noob Saibot into Sub Zero again.
I am suggesting to make Noob Saibot and Sub Zero different characters with different stories.

why not subzero and noob mixed remember the mka ending for noob?
With a flash, Blaze was defeated, and Noob Saibot found he was no longer standing atop the ancient pyramid, but in the center of a darkened arena.
From the shadows, a figure slowly emerged.
It was Sub-Zero, the warrior Noob had been before being slain by Scorpion.
Sub-Zero had come to regain control of their divided soul.
The two clashed, but neither could best the other.
In the end, what emerged was a being that was neither Noob Saibot nor Sub-Zero, but something new....

Not likely to have happened. And it was the Sub-zero from MK1 anyway...

Human Smoke? ok. Get rid of that Mask from Deception. And use his old mask. There you go.
And noob back as Sub-Zero? Why? Noob is awesome the way he is. His costume needs a revamping though. He's not even wearing ninja gear other than the mask in D/A it's like...a ski suit or something. I second him coming back looking like a Wraith. Like Havik. or like he did in 4.

Noob Saibot should DEFENETLY return as the former sub-zero, just cuz he was cooler than the younger one.
As for human smoke, yes, but not at the moment. For the next game, i would like to see smoke regaining some of his memories.

Smoke coming back as human yes
Noob coming back as classic Sub Zero PLEASE!!! I have been waiting for this ever since MKT. I like both Noob and Classic Sub but only one can come back and If the younger Sub Zero finally gets killed off the older one might get a chance to finally return.

Personally I do hope that there will be NO Noob-Zero/Sub-Saibot. that is very lame and it is worthy of leaving Mortal kombat over too due to its lame ness.

Noob-Zero? Sub-Saibot? I cannot beleive that some people beleive torturing a name to get some new character is worth mentioning. I find that very irritating when someone butchers names like that.
Human smoke should remain as a Cyborg due to the fact that his Human side never really played a big part. The only time we got to see him as a human was basically MK2, that was when he was hidden. Then of course back in UMK3, as a hidden once again. We never really played as Smoke as a human intentionally. And if you say "He was human in Deception"... you call that human?
Smoke should remain as a Cyborg. Becuase they already attempted to make Cyrax into human, why bother making another cyborg human?
Secondly, I do not want to see Noob come back as Sub-Zero for the fact that he is already dead... why resurrect someone we already can play? It would be pointless to have a good Sub-Zero and an evil Sub-Zero. No, I do not like a Sub-Zero who can blast out shadow bolts as that he would possibly represent Noob coming back from the dead or something like that.
These two characters should just be left alone and left alone for good, for the fact that if Midway attempts to changing one tiny little thing, all hell will be released.

there was two sub zeroes in Umk3. So there can be two subby in MK.
I don't think that MK1 Sub Zero as evil but I do see him as of Mk1, as a netural player.

the classic sub zero was non canon like the human smoke was in UMK3.
Human Smoke is one of my top 3 favorite characters. Followed by Noob ( the original Sub Zero was my favorite character, now Noob is one since mkd) and Reptile.
With Sub Zero's grandmaster outfit alt in mkda, the Shredder look, the mksm look, and the mk vs dc look it would be no problem for Smoke to be human again and dress in his old Lin Kuei uniform and still be different from Sub Zero.
I like the robo Smoke look as an alt. Hell he could still wear the cyber armor while he is human. It can be explained away as the Lin Kuei's version of Boba Fett's mandalorian armor.
As far as Noob, if he becomes Sub Zero again or remains a wraith, or becomes some mixture of both I will be happy as long as he returns.
I would prefer him to become some mixture of wraith and Lin Kuei though. That way he becomes more than just a wraith or Lin Kuei. He becomes even more poweful and deadly. Maybe keep the teleports, and use some form of black ice or something.
So much potential to destroy everybody with Noob. He is the guy that killed and beat Scorpion twice. Something his brother apparently has been unable to do. He beat Fujin, the fire, water, and earth gods. He beat the most powerful sorcerer in the mk universe Quan Chi, and defeated Shinnok. He also beat Sareena, Kia, and Jataka. He also beat Goro and almost killed him (ambush yes, but it counts).
Before Scorpion got lucky and killed him on his third try, I say he would have won the mk tournament. I think he is the greates mk warrior ever based on his accomplishments.
With direct ties and some blood feuds to the some of the biggest power players in the mk universe (Scorpion, Quan Chi, Sub Zero, Smoke, Sareena, Fujin, Goro, Sektor, Cyrax, and maybe Dark Raiden) the potential that can be realized is greater than any other character in the enitire mk roster in my opinion.
I just want him to become an independent agent on his own leading the brotherhood of Shadows.
Long live Noob Saibot!
