I think stage transitions like Injustice is better. It would be cool with alternate weather versions (separate stages you could pick) such as sunny, rain, snow, lightning, sandstorms, fog, blizzards etc and morning, day , evening, and night. So say u are playing on a stage with lightning and then u get knocked into a different stage it will also have lightning.
Multi-tiered stages can be good with parkour movement.

I say Multi-tiered stages.
Stage transitions are Injustice's thing. I'd rather MK and Injustice be as separate as possible. What I think they could do is just have someone get knocked through a celing via uppercut like in MK3.

Should there be cinematics or straight into the action.

Why not have it depend on the stage?
I've always wanted a stage where the floor is glass and eventually shatters, taking the brawl elsewhere. Crashing through walls to expand the playing field, a la snk or MVC (one only, it seems). Ceiling transitions would be tricky to do without looking ridiculous, but if there were an X-ray move where the opponent is popped up, that would work. That or EX-Uppercuts or pop-up specials in general would make sense.
I've got nothing else.

That's a great idea! It could be used similarly on other levels like on thin ice or rickety bridge.

I just did a quick google image search and when I searched thin ice, it showed pictures of ice breaking and then underneath that was water. Then I searched rickety bridge and most of the results show a river underneath the rickety bridge. The glassfloor is a great idea, an example of such a stage could be in a Nightclub. Or in a playboy mansion house.
So u guys want multi-tiered stages with limited destructible environments. Maps that change as you play similar to the levolution on Battlefield 4, but on a smaller scale.
Levolution in BF4

How is tag mode gonna work with stage transitions? I think as environment get more and more destructed, then characters should evade the hazards with parkour movement. And this should be automatic so characters never make a mistake as the environemnt comes crashing down.

Doesn't have to be destructible:
I would be fine with either, but prefer tiers or quick trans./ smashing through walls. I feel that each stage should have fatalz, but if not, with some sort of interactivity objects. MK 4 had rocks & heads and stuff. I think weapons should return but be level specific. I mean not to where everyone gets something, sometimes ridiculous. Jade keeps her staff, Kitana- fanz, Kabal, etc. & more of a combo thing. Either way as long as $#!T iz balanced proper.
That glass thing.. How about a mirror stage for Khrome or thin sheets of metal like a shanty town? Kai iz from Africa, right?
