How many Alternate Costumes should each character have in MK 7??(You can list what you want the characters to look like)

I was thinking about this the other day, and i thought i want back at least 2 or perhaps 3 total costumes for each guy in the next game.

But i think for example, scorpion.

In MK 7 i want him to have his MK 4/MK:D alternate for one, his MK:DA alternate as another with the flaming head and perhaps an all new look as his standard.

Also, i don't want to have to unlock their alternates, just too much work thats not necessary imo.

Have that be for characters, stages you know more important things.
They should make MK 7 like MK 4 as far as costumes are concerned.Just push start and hit a punch or kick button to switch.

But thats my opinion, whats do you guys want??

I want them ALL to be naked. All of them. No masks, even. Just bare butt naked to the core. Yeppers, that's my request.

Oh yeah, the more costumes the better! I also wish that they'd have more weapon options for each character. Deep down we all want them to be our dress up dolls...dolls who kill. Unlocking things is fun though, don't deprive me of that...plus in increases the replay value for me. I like having something to work toward.

When I first read that, I imagined about Frost versus Nitara and thought "Tee hee." but then I imagined Bo Rai Cho versus Drahmin, and thought "Ewww!"...

Anyways, I think there will be about 2 or 3 costumes each in MK:7, but I'd like to see 10 costumes each. But I guess the thing that really matters is the originality and graphics of the costumes, and with that Unreal Engine 3, I bet they'll look great...

I think it would be cool if they had every costume they ever had from pervious mk games. That wouldn't really make that many when you think about it. I know it's not impossible...look at DOA...some of the characters have nearly 20 costumes. I think it would be possible for at least 3-5 per character.

Before I get flamed let me remind everyone it's just an idea I don't care that much about costumes... just as long as each character has one that looks decent I wont complain.

I quite like the idea of having all their previous costumes, kinda like a back catalogue. Although for some characters, there wouldnt be any previous, or a few. Whereas the likes of Scorpion and Sub would have loads.

Personally, i think 3 costumes each would be a good number. Also, they could make it possible for you to choose the second colour for each costume (you when u both pick the same character, player 2 is usually a different colour). I think this would add a decent choice and variety.

It would be cool if they would have 2 costumes that are of their own and 2 custom costumes that you can edit yourself, but only with specific alternations (like some ninjas cant remove their masks like ermac but can cover teir face with other means). They would be thousands of items to add to your fighter to make them look like how you see them as. If you want to fight as Scorpion in his original MK outfit you can set it up as one of your customs or have Liu Kang look like an actual shaolin monk and have him bald, something like that. Just imagine how that would be like

One completely new or modified from a previous look, an alternate, then a classic costume from the very first game they were in.

same as black magic. 3, classic, actual, alternate. Well for Kitana jade and Mileena, their alternates should be jades second attire, but edited as their own color.

Funny you mention that, Niko, because such a game with such that very idea is apparently being made. And yes, it is an MK game. I will say no more.

I picture the costume selection being a little similar to King of Fighters: Maximum Impact. Each character will have 2-3 different costumes, plus several alternate color/themes to choose with that as well. However, I do like scorpionfreak2k2's idea for the costume option, where you could edit the character's outfit.
