Were both of you using Cutthroat variation (and the same costume?)

I was playing his Cybernetic variation last night and fought an AI Cybernetic who had green LED lights rather than red.

that's most likely a glitch,a beta leftover when cutthroat was green,and not blue.

Well, the green LED lights are actually indicative of 'no variation chosen', so I wouldn't call it a glitch.

More likely, it's supposed to help differentiate between players using the same variation (with the same costume(?)) (or, so it seems.)

thing is,red was originally the no variation chosen color. as MKX's development progressed,they changed that. it's possible that the game mistakenly loads the original green as opposed to blue. also,MK1 tower has no variations for the AI,from what i've heard,so there's that as well(Kano loads the green color since he has no variation selected)

It's possible to play with no variation. When you're at the variation selection, press up up to go into hidden selection, and press Y or Triangle. Kano does use green when he uses no variation, pretty sure you cant use cutthroat with green though

yeah,just saw that,pretty awesome I might add,but I miss the red for the "no variation chosen" color T.T

I wish he would have stayed Red and they would have found other signs for the variations.

My main character is Cuttroath Kano and I wish he was old school red instead of blue.
