I half-agree with you here. Jade has been nothing but a Kitana plot device for God knows how long. But I'd definitely take her over Tanya - one of the worst characters in the series - any day of the week.

Let's say 14-16 from MK9, 10-12 post-MK3 kombatants, and maybe 2-4 new characters.

At least the same amount as MK9, maybe even a little less. As long as Scorpion, Reptile, and Sub-Zero are in, I'll be happy. I'd love to see Cyrax make a return, I know Ermac will be in.. I hope anyways. As well as more characters from MK4, I didn't care for any Decption characters so I guess I'll be easy to please for this new entry in Mortal Kombat.
