MK9 is what drove me to buy a PS3 after years without a console. MKX was supposed to bethe same for a PS4, but then they announced that if would e for ps3 as well... So conundrum.

Apparently the ps3 version will be redone by an outside company so this gives me nerves for game quality as well as graphics. I mean, look how shitty arkham origins came out compared to the first two when a new development team took the reigns.

Not sure how this will pan out on mkx since the game will be finished by NRS and I presume the new company's job will be to replicate it, more or less. If I can justify getting the money together for a ps4 I will in a heartbeat, the game is looking so gorgeous and cinematic and I've been such a fan my whole life it seems like a crime not to experience it with every beautiful detail and how it was intended to play by NRS.

If you don't have a PS4 by now man, you still have plenty of time to get one. Just incase should anyone wish to come over to my home, and challenge me in MK:9, I'll be more then happy to dust off the cob webs on my PS3 for old times sakes. As far as gameplay. You want that top notch experience. Get a PS4 boss.

If you really care that much about your MKX experience then you'll want to play next gen. Last gen will definitely be missing things. Anything from poligons and particles to characters, modes, and features is fair game. Last gen could also easily see delays.

Its not a problem if you just use the PSN credit. Though I remember the first big hack came on the release date of MK9. That sucked

Yeah that was weird that both PSN and XBL got hacked at the same time. Xbox was back up pretty fast tho.

Both PSN and XBL were down on christmas so yea. And PSN was actually hacked once like two years ago or whenever it was down for 3 months. Other than that it's just been ddos which happens to xbox too. There were tons of times on 360 I would sign in and services would be down.

It shouldn't look too terribly bad but it'll definitely be noticeable I think. Just the sheer amount of detail in this game makes it gorgeous. I went ahead and bought me an X-Box One over the holidays for three things; Mortal Kombat X, Arkham Knight and Halo MCC. Never played a Halo game in my life despite having an X-Box and a 360 back in the day so picked that up and now I'm going to be getting Arkham Knight and MKX which, im my opinion, are the two best looking games graphically coming out the top half of this year. They both look amazing.

But again, I don't think it'll look horrible.

I am buying an Xbox One just for this game...because all the skilled players from XBL will move onto the next gen systems. I don't want to be the only guy playing this on the 360.

Also, if you have a PS3, you'll still play against ps4 players online?

Hasnt been announced. Seems doubtful considering last gen versions of the game are being made by a different studio, plus the fact that the game is cross platform. Usually such optimizations arent done for one console over another.

Nope, the Xbox One is my main console. I own both, but I really don't like the PS4.

I really hope it doesn't look TOO off. I can do if it looks similar to MK9's graphics. I'm more for gameplay than looks anyways, but that's to a certain extent. I really can't afford a PS4 for now and might do with the PS3 copy.

I haven't ordered the game yet myself and am waiting to see some PS3 gameplay before making that choice. That's probably the best thing to do if it's a concern.

I second that. And alot of my friends who got ps4 and played games that were ment for ps4 but got the ps3 versons said it had alot of problems...more with timing and loding
