How about Mortal Kombat Trilogy Nitro for XLA and PSN?

I think it would be cool if they made an XBLA game that sticks more to the old school style of gameplay. I'm thinking it should be MK trilogies except with new better graphics. I think a lot of people wanted MK1,2,3 released with new graphics, and a lot of people want the old MK style also. I think there is diffinately a market for this on Xbox live and PN.

Definitely,I would pay 15$ for an HD remix of MK:Trilogy on the PSN. With Online elements added and what not...hells yeah!grin

There would have to be a lot of gameplay and graphical refinements, such as Human Smoke having his own moves and the complete removal of pallet swaps, though I can't imagine that being too difficult.

It would require rebuilding the game from the ground up as they couldn't use the filmed actor footage, but we're talking a 2D game from the 90s. I'll pay an extra $5.00.

Exactly why I think rebuilding the game wouldn't happen.

The only thing I could see happening is fixing the glitches, restoring the graphics and sound to arcade quality, and supporting online.
