Hotaru was awesome! Very samurai-esque, believed in order (also another similarity to the samurai). I'd say we haven't seen the last of him.
Drahmin was also very cool IMO, one of my fave post MK4 chararcters, but the developers hate him because he was hard to program in Deadly Alliance. I wish they'd give him a second chance, if Shinnok is going to bring forth the onslaught from the Netherealm, he needs Drahmin along side to destroy Earthrealm and Outworld.

Seido realm being mentioned in Johnny's ending,Hotaru's being in intro to story mode,Havik helping Noob Saibot are enough proof for me that MK team has a LOT of plans for these sections of MK Universe in future games (don't forget that MK9 is ALL about Earthrealm and Outworld). So yeah,Hotaru will be back, and hopefully, much better than he was in MK Deception.
The only thing I REALLY want to see is confrontation between Hotaru and Havik, because it was IMPLIED in Deception that they are arch-enemies,They didn't mention each other ANYWHERE in Konquest of MK Deception, which is shame, because their rivalry can be SO EPIC.
