That would be an interesting combination.

Monster was basically a fancy-looking Scorpion, but if Monster + Hornbuckle did make a character, it could be a new Shirai Ryu ninja! Seriously, all Scorpion talks about is his family and clan, but he's the only one of his clan we ever see. We see a lot of Lin Quei ninjas: Sub-Zero, Sub-Zero 2, Cyrax, Sektor, Smoke, Hydro and Frost, but we never saw any Shirai Ryu other than Scorpion. And if I recall people can be brought back from the dead in the world of Mortal Kombat so there's always a way to revive a member.
