i have a sneaking suspicion that NRS will only acknowledge the Chaos Realmers. That they actually have this deep seeded hatred of the Order Realm.

Or maybe they just don't want to bring back the Order vs Chaos angle again who knows.

It makes me sad because I like to think Hotaru has just as much potential as Havik.

I think they hated Darrius and Dairou but not Hotaru. I heard someone say that Hotaru was originally planned to be the bosss for MK8 before it became MKvsDC. Also, Hotaru cameoed in MK9

IIRC, Hotaru made a cameo as one of the fallen Kombatants in the Edenian crater at the start of story mode

Don't jump to conclusions. The Order Real and Hotaru could come back in another game. They aren't forgetting/erasing them. They just didn't want to focus on Chaos realm vs. Order realm in this game because they have so many other things going on.

Seido cameoed in Cage's ending. Probably we will see the guy as a comic background character. possibly offed because NRS are idiots and killing off their characters what are actually worth a damn.

I can't wait until Chrome plays MKX and does a complete 180 on his stance of the game.

I'm on the Hotaru is ripe for potential side. He's got a visually cool design, they just need to give him better moves and develop his story. Plus he's got the firefly angle, he and D'Vorah might have something to talk about.

Also, how back is Havik? Are you refering strictly to the comics or the game as well?

Oh, make no mistake, this is shaping up to be the best MK so far.

That does not mean I have to like it. Acknowledging its quality and liking sdomething is not nearly the same thing. This game has so far little in the sense that would make me play it. Probably going to check out story mode on Youtube and that is it.

Personally, I'd save these 3d era characters only : Sareena, Shinnok, Quan Chi, Kenshi, Onaga and Havik.

Frost could be saved for the "next gen thing", while Bo RAI Cho as npc. Reiko deserve a second chance, but only if he has his mk4 look and special on his own without borrowing them from Noob or Shao.
