He 's still one of the best sub-bosses in my opinion. And in the trailers in the end, he's scary again like in the first Mortal Kombat.
With that "music" and coming at you like he does in the trailer.... goosebumps!!! :) Hope it will be like that in the game.

I think Mortal Kombat II was probably the most awesome Mortal Kombat game ever at the time. It had hidden characters and both Kintaro and Shao Kahn were difficult to beat. It took me a long time to figure out how to beat Kintaro. It did not take me long to beat Goro in MK1.

I LOVE Goro and have since MK1. He's the OG sub-boss baddass. Plus he's intelligent and he's royalty, commanding an army of Shokan. He's all that with a topknot. Goro was a great choice for Pre-Order, in my opinion.

Boon already confirmed that Goro won't have a boss status of some sort in MKX.

I love Goro, to me he is the third top niche representative MK characters right after Scorpion and Sub-Zero.
I'd rather see Motaro, though.

That is true. Goro is iconic to Mortal Kombat. He stands out because of his arms and strength. If only one day Ed Boon would allow us to fight an actual dragon as a boss. I think that could be cool. I mean they use a dragon as a symbol.
