Yeah it says to "fight as Goro" so I think he might be in the game already, just not playable unless you pre-order , which is cool , hopefully he stays a pre-order exclusive for a while, no point in pre-ordering if he's gonna be DLC anybody can get a week later.

I'm pretty sure the code might be in the game case even if you don't pre-order. I remember when I bought Batman Arkham Origins and they were saying pre-order to play as Deathstroke but I didn't pre-order it and I got the code inside.

I think he's probably unlockable but if you preorder then you'll get him right off the bat.

I think they're going to do the Killer Instinct route where you have the characters downloaded but have to buy them to use them, but you can still fight against them in story mode or whatever. So yeah basically what you said.

... That's not the KI route lol. I'm not gonna start complaining yet because he may well be unlockable in the main game but if not this is your standard DLC bs. I don't care if it's NRS or anyone else, there is absolutely no excuse for locked content... but like I say I'm not gonna freak out about it just yet lol

Considering how early into development he was revealed, I can say with 99.9% certainty Goro will be on the disc, with the pre-order being the DLC code to unlock him.

Your not going to be able to unlock him with out paying for it or pre ordering, unless you wait for the Komplete Edition.

I suspect that's the case but like I say I'm not gonna jump to conclusion yet. If it is the case, I'll see you guys online when the "KOMPLETE" edition drops.

In defense of Netherrealm studios, WB makes the call as to what is DLC / Exclusive ect.

I would think most die hard MK fans, especially those who come to a message board specific to Mortal Kombat X, would have planned on pre ordering anyway.

Your not being charged extra for pre ordering game, your basically giving WB an early sales projection.

Now if this were a case like SF x Tekken, where there was loads of completely finished characters on disc, but locked behind a paywall, I would be pissed, but this is one character that your not even paying extra for.

I feel you stinky. I absolutely hate DLC with a passion. Especially when the base game is rushed and broken with a 40gb day 1 patch. Buuuut my nerddom for mk outweighs it lol. I'm buying comics and shit and I don't read comics.

For me is more than obvious they will do to Goro the same as they did for Klassic costumes in MK9, you pre-order them, you get for free, if you don ́t, you can buy as a DLC some months later... no big deal, that ́s what I will do.
