I got an idea about what i think they should do in the game after MK(2011).If it's set in the timeline after armageddon then this is what i want to see.Raiden is the god protecter of earthrealm,shinnok was an elder god once,but is there a possibility of a god type of job for the netherealm,maybe the elder gos bestow this upon scorpion.Basically giving him a raiden type job.But heres the catch. Assuming scorpion doesn't already kill quan chi how about the elder gods give him a choice like this"You may become a god proctector of the netherealm,but only if you end your pursuit of the sorcerer Quan Chi.If you do this service we will let your soul rest in peace".I'm not sayingg that it has to be the netherealm but if it was then his job would the opposite of raiden's.Raiden protects earth realm from invaders.Scorpion would be making sure that no one that is particurlarly evil escapes the Netherrealm.It would get rid of the "Always out for revenge thing"that fans have complained about scorpion's stories.What do you think? furious

1. A lot of people. Scorpion wasn't born there, he was reborn there when he died. There are several other characters like Ashrah or Sareena who have been there their entire life.
2. The only crimes he truly, intentionally committed involved the Sub-Zero family. If he wanted to atone for those, he would do something like in his MK2 ending/MK3 bio.

Yes, because working as an assassin is not morally reprehensible.


Mary Sue fiction is to put it simply: overidealization of one character which takes central role. Read this:

His story would still be similar to the one he already has.

"So & so managed to slip out of the infernal confines of Hades. In his first act as guardian of that domain, Scorpion must track down so & so, and bring them back personally... even if he must enguage in MORTAL KOMBAT!"


Of course you could probably come up with something more elaborate & thought out if you really tried.

"Oh noes, Quan Chi escaped Hell!" Scorpion: "I cannot interfere..."

Maybe that's to predictable...
