The only thing I preferred in MK9 was the challenge tower over the towers we have in MKX. I know this is probably more content but I just sort of preferred inching my way up one massive tower!

I also wouldn't mind seeing Dante from Devil May Cry (Old or Reboot) and Alex Mercer from the Prototype series.

Alex Mercer isn't too well known but he would fit right in, even more so in MKX, the variation system would have made it easier to have him in and include all of his powers.

Alex Mercer would be beautiful. He's already killing and ripping people apart. It's kind of like Kratos. The best guest characters are those that already beat the fuck out of people and murder them in brutal ways. Kratos was like that. Freddy was like that. Jason and Predator are like that.

Alex Mercer is like that. He has so many different moves, it would work great with the variation system.

Other game characters that would work are War and Death from Darksiders.

Ash Williams, no excuses.

My thoughts exactly, he is already a brutal ass character who tears people to shreds and beats people to mush so he could go right in there, I imagine one of his fatalities being him consuming the opponent lol it would be so cool. Plus his powers would make him really easy to work into a fighting game, with his ability to shift his limbs and body into different weapons and stuff I feel like he could be a pretty diverse character in terms of gameplay.

War and Death from Darksiders would be sick too! Death will all of his items and stuff would be cool, imagine pulling in the opponent with that claw thing he has from long distance like Scorpion's kunai and that popping them with a sick scythe combo

Every time someone thinks of a Gears guest character they say Marcus, but Skorge is the only character in that series that makes sense for a fighting game. Shame he's not popular.

On topic: Arnold Terminator. They'd have to make a robot skeleton for the X-rays though.

The best thing for them is to keep guest characters "Iconic" & gimicky, those instantly recognizable. Thats the good thing about Jason & Predator. Everyone knows who they are. Fans or not.

Their mistake with MK9 for me was using the wrong Freddy. Instead they used the failed remake version instead of the icon everyone knows and loves.

If we get another guest, Spawn may be cool but I do not see him selling anywhere near what Jason & Predator will.

Sam from Trick R Treat would be awesome too. Not sure how recognizable he is outside from the fans though.

Predator is the ONLY guest character they've come up with for MK that I actually like and could sensibly fit into the game.

Rambo, Mad Max, and Predator are three characters who I think fit MK perfectly. But, Ash would be a dream come true. Having a guest character is purely for the fun of putting a character from one world into another. Who epitomes that more than Ashley Williams? The Boomstick, chainsaw, metal hand, deadite transformation; all have great potential for fun gameplay, and the interactions between him and the MK cast would be golden.
