I'd love to see Shang Tsung and Quan Chi form an alliance once more, but I doubt it will ever happen again.

I'm not sure what partnerships I'd like to see. It all comes down to who is actually back. I'd prefer they stray away from obvious ones like Ermac and Kenshi and ones that are obviously doomed given past events in the case of Shang and Quan or Mileena and Baraka. They should explore differing alliances, if any, that really push the story further and keep things interesting.

Well I know that I would definetly like to see what would happen if Reptile and Khameleon teamed up.

Sub Zero/ Noob. Noob finally becomes good for once and help Sub Zero. Then in the end, he kills Sub Zero.

Some other good one would be Liu-Kang and Kobra cause after Liu-Kang died in Deadly Alliance you see Kobra show up well Midway kinda had the idea of Kobra being similar to Liu-Kang so yeah Liu-Kang and Kobra would be pretty cool..

If they do something like him, it should be some kind of complicated on-screen melee type situation where you simultaneously control the actions of both brothers through specific command inputs, and when the two brothers become Siang, it should be like a seamless, animation-morph. Maybe like when the blood meter fills up in MkSM, their "aggression" kicks in, and they become Siang himself. Higher damage per hit, unique fighting style and special moves ect...

Anyway instead, I'd like to see "business relationships" formed. Like a secret war is happening, and someone pays off someone else in a fashion of "instant gratification"(no matter what they pay them off with). Add the element of conspiracy, and mystery to this next game.

I don't want "teams", I don't want "alliances", I don't really even want solid buddies to happen for at least one game. Everyone needs to watch their own back after Armageddon.

Maybe a couple characters command a legion. Let's see what we got though:

All right, you know how in the Malibu comics how Raiden swore to protect, Sub-Zero? Well, if Raiden still stayed his evil self and somehow Scorpion turns evil in this one instead of Neutral..... wait that's a stupid idea. Idk, I just want these two to be partners for some damn reason. Damnit!

But in the same way, Shinnok rules the Netherealm, and Shao Kahn rules Outworld, so one could make the arguement that they should form an alliance.

However, they are completely different characters. Unlike Shao Kahn, Shinnok relies less on brute strength and fear-mongering, and more on magical powers and ancient artifacts. And just as these two are different, so are Shinnok and Havik.

Just because they're cool and rule a realm, doesn't mean they are appropriate for an alliance together. I'm not even sure that Havik rules the realm, as he probably classes ruling as a form of order. So I doubt he actually rules the Chaosrealm.

But I agree with you completely though, undertaker15-0. It would be really cool if they formed an alliance. But I just don't think it would work.
