I would be okay, but still hoping for more new ones. So far we have:
- a brute and his master
- an insect inspired character
- a new kahn, inspired by the aztecs
- a cowboy
- a bow wielding warrior
- a female fighter
- a warrior with possible telekinetic powers
- a female army bitch

I'm still missing some crazy new monster in the line of Goro / Baraka (four arms or blades in arms) and another I can't come up with right now haha

10 new ones would be perfect for me, take out Sonya & Jax / Johnny, make them DLC classics and I would be thrilled with this. Kenshi is a bit redundant if Takeda has telekinetic powers, so would replace him with Baraka / Kabal.

All of this list should be in the game (Liu seems to me the only doubt). But the list should not be so small.

I wouldn't have predicted Jin to be the bow guy, at all. He was right on that.

At this point, hoping for more than 24 is nice, but with the 4 confirmed DLC and future DLC, 24 seems more and more like the final number.

I have seen people across multiple forums predicting Kung Jin was the bow for several months now.

Because everybody thought the bow guy was one a character from Kotal Kahn's race.

Seems entirely plausible and will most likely be the final roster. I like it, but the only change I'd make is changing Fujin for Lui but that's just me. I honestly think this guy is legit, Kung Jin as bow man came out of fucking nowhere..

Not buying it simply because I don't believe we'll be getting Sonya, Johnny or Liu Kang as playable characters.

If this is the case..How do you guys feel about all this family tree stuff going on? I find it odd that these new generation fighters wouldn't just replace Jax, Sonya, Johnny and Kenshi. IMO Drop the old farts and get some interesting chars in, that havent been around forever..

I honestly think it could just be a coincidence. There really isn't a whole lot of risk to that list. And as has been said, there had been lots of speculation that Bow Guy could be Kung Jin floating around the internet already... the guy who made this could easily have just picked up that ball and ran with it.

And Kung Jin is about the riskiest thing about that list. Most everyone else is either a headliner who already stood a huge chance of being in either way, or a newbie who was already introduced and set up in the comic book.

Shinnok is the biggest longshot of the returning characters on that list, and as longshots go, he was one of the most likely going into this game (You know... being compltely set up at the end of the last one and all...)

If the list had accurately predicted someone more out there, like Rain or something, I'd be more apt to believe it.
