From which realm should DVorah come from?

Earth, Outworld, Edenia, Hell, Seido, the Chaos realm, Nitara's world, Zaterra, or some new realm entirely?

I once suggested the possibility that her species were native to Zaterra. Someone else on this board brought up this theory a while back of her being from Seido, which I liked.

I personally hope that if she's from a familar world, it is one of the more obscure ones, and not one of the main four (Earth, Outworld, Hell, and Edenia), as I feel we already have many characters and species from those worlds, especially Outworld. Given what we've seen of Seido, D'Vorah being from that world would be interesting, as she'd stick out in it's aesthetics, and could help Seido become a more fleshed out realm, if we knew that what we saw in MKD's konquest mode wasn't the entirety of it, and that there were drastically different-looking areas.

But insect hierarchy being rather orderly, could make her being from the chaos realm ironic. Hell, for all we know, she might be the offspring of a chaos realm inhabitant, and an individual from a Seidan species that is more inhuman-looking than her (D'Vorah, I mean).

But if she has to be from one of the main four realms, please don't let it be Outworld. As I've already said, it already has the most species and characters, Kotal Kahn likely being one of them. Earth and Edenia could be intriguing, and Hell could be alright, I guess.

Zaterra would be awesome.

Some new storyline for Reptile is needed, and bug vs reptile sounds interesting, she could be behind the raptor massacre, given orders by Shao Kahn to destroy all raptors, making a very awesome enemy of Reptile.

I hope she's not from Earthrealm, outworld or Netherealm/hell, that would be boring.

Some horrid transformation from Edenia could work, but rather Zaterra.

Bee's are better off for Seido, not Wasps, D'vorah is based on a wasp, those are more like chaos creatures, not lawful.

I like the seido idea metaphorically.. Bees do have such order to them in their hives.

But I don't remember any nature in that realm so I don't think it's likely.

It's probably a stretch, but maybe she's from an adjacent realm to Zaterra and Varterrenus. She doesn't look like Outworld material to me.

This is probably a stretch but the geometry of honeycombs and spiderwebs is generally very symmetrical and D'Vorah's powers are based on bugs that represent those two; wasps and spiders. Bees/wasps especially are bugs that are all about order, perfection, harmony, etc which is exactly what Seido is all about.
Again I might be thinking way too much into this but I'd love the idea of D'Vorah coming from Orderealm. We need more fighters from that realm and she could be a very interesting one. The most interesting we have from there so far imo at least. Who can say that Outworld is the only realm where monstrous characters like D'Vorah can come from? It will show some variety if anything.

^It is a good theory. Bugs are far too orderly to be from Chaosrealm. I don't know about Seido though. She just doesn't look like someone who could walk around Seido.

Plus Boon already mentioned Outworld so.

Again, I'm pretty sure that what we saw of Seido in MKD's konquest is not the entirety of it. Just look at how ridiculously small Earth and Outworld were in that game. There wasn't even a place in Outworld where Shokan and Centaurs lived, nor did you get to explore the wastelands, or the tower, or the armory, or the kombat tomb. Hell, Shao Kahn was encountered in a mere village, instead of his throne room, in a large castle. No way that the entire realm of Seido look the same. At least, I hope it doesn't.

I have a theory about the Kingdoms of Mortal Kombat. We know that formed when the six realms Elder Gods fragmented Body of the One Being and that it was derived from his soul has been broken and stuck in Kamidogus. I think a Kamidogu cracked in creation. So he created the five Kingdoms (Earthrealm, Outworld, Edenia, Seido and Netherrealm) and the Sixth Kamidogu created a space where Minor Kingdoms are born, and the center of this creation is Caosrealm.

Definitely not from Edenia, they're descendants from Gods and Devorah is fugly and trashy.

She's half human, so maybe from earthrrealm, or like someone already said, from some irrelevant realm merged with Outworld.

I think it is a species native to Outworld and not a kingdom that was fused to Outworld. Honestly she looks inhabitant of a forest there.

There are alot of realms in the MK universe. But we only recently heard about others but there are still more. I think it would good to introduce newer characters from these other realms.

Known Realms:
1. Chaos Realm
2. Earthrealm
3. Edenia
4. Netherrealm(Hell)
5. Orderrealm(Seido)
6. Outworld
7. Zaterra

Unknown/Unfamiliar Realms:
1. Heaven- Origins of Elder Gods (I believe)
2. Hinpar- A place of Endless Night. Taken over by Shao kahn bt not fully merged
3. Ilkan- Apparently a lush Jungle type realm
4. Nexus- Central hub for realm travel (Made by Elder Gods to aid the Champion)
5. Nightmare Realm- ?
6. One Realm - Apparently this realm exist if/when all the realms merge.
7. Rellim Ohcanep- mention in MK3 series apparently
8. Vaeternus- Conquered by Shao Kahn its apparently home to Vampires, Nitaras' home world

But to answer the question finally i think D'Vorah should come from one of these unfamiliar realms, most likely the jungle type since you know, she is a bug

Well, so far we have seen that only human or apparently human characters exist in the realms of Earthrealm, Edenia, and Seido.

Earth: Liu Kang, Johnny Cage, Sonya, Jax, Cassie, etc...

Edenia: Kitana, Sindel, Jade, Tanya, Rain, Jarrod

Seido: Hotaru, Dairou, Darrius

See? They all appear human. So, I would rule her out for that.

The netherealm is for demons which she doesn't appear to be.

I would say Outworld most likely.

Ferra/Torr better fucking be from chaosrealm. That realm needs some building and memorable characters. Seido does too, but those should be more like Hotaru IMO.

Apparently Boon stated she ́s from Outworld, I ́ve missed out on that one. It kinda makes sense. As stated, that realm has merged which so many other realms and has so many beastlike characters, D ́Vorah is yet another one.

I was thinking maybe one of the known realms was on the brink of destruction and her race invaded and took it over (similar to how wasps will overtake other insect hives/nests)
