Had Nightwolf survived MK9 and continued on in MKX, perhaps a new Native American character might have worked. However, I'd rather not see such a character unless she were made into something distinct and interesting.

They pretty much are. And there's nothing wrong with newbies as DLC, but why not save them for the best possible exposure they can get and that's appearing in the default roster- not as afterthought DLC.

Because it's tiresome seeing people on here clamoring for knockoffs of existing characters for DLC (like that's going to happen anyway) instead of an already existing unique character who could certainly use the exposure.
