None of them have stood out for me yet. But if I had to choose one I guess it'd be Ermac.

Kitana, Kano and Kotal Kahn.

They all have such great designs and movesets that I can't really choose, to be honest.

Out of the new characters actually revealed thus far I like Ferra/Torr the best(obviously).

Reptile, obviously.

Also stoked for Kitana, Kotal and Ermac.

Favorite revealed are Kung Lao obviously, and Kitana. That trailer that shows off Kitana blew me away. She looks so stunning, the way she moves in her intro with the fans, the expression of her eyes like she's ready to kill, her design, everything about her is damn perfect. That new running and jump move looks sick. She's so badass this time around.

Kung Lao's "leak" made my jaws drop. The entire day that day I was so happy, felt like I had a new child lol. I like how they've aged him, now has a pony tail, and the buzzsaw hat looks cool as hell. That's actually my favorite variation for now. Then when the NRS stream guys played him in the demo, Kung Lao is so speedy and powerful, everything looks so damn good. Only thing I'm worried about is that his teleport goes from the ground up, I wonder if it'll be more predictable this time. Oh, and his fatality looks great, hoping they bring back his classic vertical slice back from MKII. It was just overkill in MK9.

D'Vorah and Kotal Kahn are my favourite ones but I have to admit that I like every character so far. They did pretty good job and made boring characters like Kano or Kung Lao amazing.

Kitana.

Still not thrilled about the Jade variation, but I like what I've heard from her. She sounds much more like condescending royalty, and she's clearly pissed about something. Post-MK2, Kitana's always felt relatively even-tempered and diplomatic...I like seeing her with a bit of a "bite" to her personality.

So far, the new kharacters has been great. Especially D'vorah. I will probably pick her first if my best kharacter doesn't make it(Seems as though, that will be the case for now).

Scorpion looks good too, and Kung Lao looks to be decent(though I never really used him much before)


But, I will save the judgement until the game releases.

For me, its Kotal Kahn. His design is something new and refreshing in the MK universe, and so far, I love his personality and back story as well. He's a complex character who's really trying to get something done. It's just something so much more than the usual "Get revenge on this person," "Defend my realm" or "Crush my enemies" storylines that we usually get.

Cassie.

At first I was like "who is this giraffe?", but I have since seen the error of my ways.

Goro, if and only if he's taller and bigger than the rest of the characters. His strength needs to show like Kintaro in MK2.

From the ones we've seen gameplay of, very tough to call, they all look great but I'm going with Reptile since he's one of my favourite 5 characters.

Kitana. Blown away with how amazing she looks.

Kung Lao would be a close second.

Kitana for returning favorites. She's by far the most drastic change of the original characters and I'm totally loving it! I like her design and the clips where I've seen her fight so far has me wanting to see more from her. Also, the mournful variation made me respect her a lot because not only does it give the deaths in MK9 some meaning but it adds more depth to her character. Not only does she sound super feisty (and pissed!) this time but she's still relatable with how she mourns her friend. Overall, she's completely revitalized!

As for the new characters I would say Cassie is growing on me. D'vorah wins regarding design but Cassie is just awesome with her personality. She's way more witty than her father ever was and isn't coming off as arrogrant like he was.

Kotal Kahn. He might end up becoming one of my all-time favorites when I'm done with MKX. Too bad he might not return for MK11, considering this game is all about his "rise and fall".

I'm just happy that 3 of my top 5 all time favorites are coming back. Kitana, Sub-Zero and Ermac. And it looks like Sonya may have been leaked, so make that 4 (hopefully).

As far as the new character, I really like Cassie (how could I not as a Sonya fan? And I'm really excited about D'vorah. Her playstyle looks fun.

I'm already having trouble deciding who to main. MUST... PLAY... EVERRYYYYONE!

I honestly thought that the Princess was going to miss out in MKX. I had hope that she would return but very slim hope. Her reveal blew me away and multiplied my hype for MKX!

I love her new look! Even though it is drastic, its still beautiful but deadly at the same time.

Can't wait to see more! I have a feeling Mileena will be revealed this week as well.

Sub-Zero but only his comic outift (kuai liang), his main outfit thats been shown im not a fan of.

Honestly not super excited for anyone else in the game atm, nothing against them and I like there stories( kotal seems cool) just dont see any of them being my favorites

Oh and going to throw this out there. I think this is the best wave of new characters to any MK game since Mk1 . (Mk1 cast still would be the best for there diversity though if that bunch was counted in it)

Returning- Quan Chi. Some sweet variations along with a very cenobite-esque costume = awesome.

Newbie- ...Ferra/Torr. I feel like most are already counting this character(s) out, which is a shame. I feel this is an interesting take for a brute character, and I am excited to see where they fit in this whole thing.

Returning: Ermac. He's the only returnee so far that I was really stoked about.

New: Tie between D'Vorah and Cassie.

Kotal kahn. raiden and kung lao are close seconds but kotal takes the cake.
