The whole idea behind kreate-a-fatality was to let your character have an interactive fatality. Every character has the same shared moveset in Armageddon, which was fun for a while but I miss the old fatalities.
At first I was excited about the k.a.f. when Ed Boon mentioned he'd like to create a fatality system where you can do every step like in sub-zero's fatality in deception with the leg shatter. It's a 3 step fatality, and you could control the order which the fatality is implemented. That was a cool idea, but it was far from that in Armageddon.
If that original idea is still in consideration, I would welcome it for MK8. Interactive fatalities FTW!

i hate it as well and i wish they would have never done it
think about it,there wre 62 charcters in mka but only 26 in deception and that is less than half of 62 . each character in mkd had 2 fatalities and a harakiri
so if midway hadn't been a bunch of lazy buttholes, they could have given eachcharacter atleast one fatality and id be ripping off subzero's head right now with scorpion's spear
and i understand that that would pose aproblem for your kak but they coulld have made it part of creating your character to make a set fatality with your own button combination die "kreate a fatalitie"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree to a point! The problem is that when you have that many characters even given one fatality, it becomes a problem in keepin all fatalities relativly new and fresh and remotely different from every other character.

I totally agree with you. Each character should have at least one (or two) of their own. If there is a problem with space on a game disc, make two one for arcade fighting, personal fatalities, bring back animalities, kak; and on the second disc have Konquest and if need be mini games. I would rather have that then the waste of money for MKSM and MKA

I agree with 100hitcombo About mkd with two fatalities each. I posted on an other thread that whomever:the boons, midway, the programmers are and have been lazy. MKD was the best MK game ever and the trend is going downhill fast with armageddon being the worst ever!

come on people you have to consider what it takes to make a game midway had what a year for each MK game now 62 characters you have to consider how long it takes to animate a few fatalitys for 62 characters and you want 2 fatalitys and animalities thats just asking to much im studying game design and i know the reason they made the create a fatality is because they new they wouldn't have time or enough ideas to make new fatality's for 62 characters. the create a fatality is a good idea but what they could have done was make them character specific sub-zero instead of just pulling an arm off he would grab it freeze it and break it off. scorpion instead of pulling off your head he speared it off i know that is possible to do with the time they had for this game.

I hate that new KAF system so I wish that they would put the same things in MK8 which they did in MKD : 2 Fatalitys, Harakiri and deathtraps
to me, while I was somewhat dissapointed w/ Armageddon due to no character-specific fatalities or endings, I've enjoyed every MK game that I've ever played, except for Special Forces. to me, that's definitely the worst MK game, even though it wasn't actually made by the MK team. correct me if I'm wrong, but Special Forces has been the only MK game to not have any fatalites, and it's just not an MK game without at least 1 fatality! concerning the new game, I really hope progress is being made on it so it will come out this year, last year was kind of a boring year for video games to me, with the lack of any real new MK game!

the KAF was ok at first. you do it with scorpion aww sweet. you do it with nitara....uhhh..yeah... you do it with goro....uhh..he's doing the same things nitara and scorpion can do...
there was just no variety to it. that's one of the things that was so great about fatalities, each one was different, special, something you had to work for and when you hit it and sat back and watched the blood shed, it was awesome. when fatalites lose their variety, they lose their impact, thus one of the things that has kept mk different from all the other fighters is lost.
i'd like the old fatalities to return. next gen graphics+ old school fatals= awesomeness.

kaf was a fine Idea. It was done extremely poorly, though.
i agree
it was a disapointment
i expected to be able to destroy my opponent, then finish them off with a signiture move
thats what it needs
everyone kills differently
also, they need to bring back friendships and animalities, but not brutalities
also, inthe cause of if there are going to be tag matches, tag fatalities
finally, with wepons, please let me cut off the persons arm mid-match
more realism please
