Should of made a poll, and NRs was saying that size of the faction doesn't mean it has a higher chance to win.

I think when it comes to the casual fans (like the people who don't even know what these groups are or who its members consist of) will go with Black Dragon, im guessing to people who don't know anything about any of these groups it probably sounds "the coolest" lol

Anyway im thinking Lin Kuei or Brotherhood Of Shadow will take the first win.

OP brings up a really good point I've been thinking about lately. I remember in the video it said the faction that wins the war gets some kind of prize, right? Since the vast majority of players are going to pick Lin Kuei won't that always be the team that gets the prize? I know it won't be anything too big, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was Krypt content or maaaaaybe an alternate costume here and there. Or maybe new icons and banners for players at the least? Kinda makes joining the black dragon or Special Forces look like more of a chore with no pay off. Like you could still be a day one Kano main AND constantly have things unlocked for you too. Just sayin

Ok so I got a question, if the faction with the most points at the end of the week wins the prize, why not wait till Saturday to join in whose ever in first , or do u need to be in all week to get the loot? Boon also said we can change factions won't people just switch right before the end to get the loot?

The more people in a faction the higher the chances of some of them losing points. Lets say a faction has 30 players most of which are talented and other faction have 100 who are mostly amatuers. The guys with 30 players have a higher chance of winning.

He said you could change factions at a price. You also level up within your faction (faction fatalities and such) so my guess is that if you switch you lose all of your progress which wouldn't be worth switching for the weekly prize.

As others have stated, Lin Kuei will have the most people because of the casual audience's gravitation to Sub-Zero. But I do believe that NRS has stated that scoring will be adjusted for faction population. That could potentially be a big factor.

In any case, I will be working my hardest to make sure the Lin Kuei doesn't win.

IIRC it was said that the amount of members in one faction wont play a huge role in who wins every week, they are probably aware that some factions will naturally have more players than others so I wouldn't worry about that too much.

And yes you can changed factions but apparently there will be a price, like you loss all the progress you made with your previous faction and have to start fresh with the next one, or something like that.
