Erron Blacks fighting prowess *Slight story spoilers*

Many people complained about Stryker being able to beat Ermac and Kintaro, as if his weapons couldn't possibly be as effective as Kung Lao's hat, Liu Kang's fireballs or Sub-Zero's cold-based abilities (plus Stryker being a martial artist like them). Hell, some people are complaining about Johnny Cage beating Scorpion and Sub-Zero, even though he's got powers too.

So how will fans react if Erron Black's able to hold his own against anyone with superhuman strenght and/or abilities? Like Stryker, he truly seems to lack magical abilities so far.

Or is it okay if he simultaneously beats Scorpion and Quan Chi, because of his design? Or is he expected to be a jobber anyway? It's a little surprising people aren't bringing up him getting owned by teenaged girls in the comics yet in order to mock him.

Sonya, Jacqui and Takeda lack magical abilities as well. Erron Black is nothing special in that department.

If that's the case, why weren't there as many complaints of Sonya beating Bi-Han, Raiden plus Kitana and Jade at the same time as there were of Stryker beating Ermac? Also, Sonya has her kiss, plus ripping someone in two with only your feet is a superhuman feat of strenght.

I'm sure Jacqui beating anyone other than Mokap will make fans pull their hair out.

Takeda has telekinetic abilities.

I think some fights are just to fill empty holes to go on with the story??

Like Sonya beats Raiden in the beginning of MK9. Not saying she's weak or anything but he is ~ThE gOd oF tHuNdEr~ c'mon (he doesn't pass out but yet he ~loses~)

Well then, who would you have let Stryker beat, that wasn't generic cannon fodder?

He was one of MK's chosen warriors. Something many fans seemed to forget. Do they think the elder gods in the old timeline chose him just to swat flies?

I know people would think Liu Kang being the MK champion justifies all of his wins, but would his abilities really make him that much better than Stryker against Ermac, or Goro, realistically? I know realism isn't MK's forte, but fans clearly like to bring it up when it comes to Stryker's fighting prowess.

He got to fight Mileena. As far as power levels are concerned, that's about as far as he should've gone, at least at the point where he's first introduced into the story.

a) The invasion was beginning, so Raiden couldn't exactly afford to get picky.

b) You are implying that all of Earthrealm's defenders are equally strong.

I shouldn't have to explain why that's not the case.

Has anyone thought that those Outworlder warriors weren't fighting at their PRIME? Like that they went easy on the Earthrealmers, thinking that they were going to beat them in MK9? It might explain some of the kombatant inconsistencies throughout MK9.

In real life we all know stryker would win every fight. Lets say he fights Noob. Noob starts the fight with throwing his shadow clone. Two shots from strykers gun and that fuckers down. Noob would then realize that Stryker ain't nothing to fuck with and try to teleport the hell out of there only to get a bomb thrown in his portal.

But seriously, power levels are garbage. Especially in fighting games. I hope Shao Kahn comes back to life only to be gunned down by Stryker.

Also Raiden's never wanted to beat Sonya, do people forget how that fight ended?
