Remember those 'quick time events' in Story mode that Urbano mentioned in the leaked interview the other day?
I hear that with several of those events if you hit just the right combination of inputs it will open up a special challenge tower with 8 levels each containing a secret fighter. If you beat that fighter with a double flawless victory without using any high kicks or the block button, you unlock them.
They're called "Super unlockables".

This would be awesome, I love unlockable characters, especially ones that give the player a little challenge.

Actually I was just ribbing everyone because of how people are in denial and making a joke reference to the "Super unlockables" debacle back during the Deception era. It was a huge rumor among fans that there were "super unlockables" that could only be unlocked somehow in Konquest by doing crazy/random things. It turned out to be complete BS.
But yeah, it actually would be pretty cool if what I was saying were really in the game. I miss old school, challenging ways of unlocking secret characters.
