Elder gods Stage

Have you guys noticed that 1:24 at this video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lw6ervPEOAM

Is CLEARLY a revamp of the MK4 Elder gods stage??
We can see a statue of Shinnok, and other one that really resembles Fujin!
So, does it make their presence on the game more likely ?

Neither of them are Elder gods.

Shinnok will be in as the story begins where the last ended. There's also a couple NetherRealm stages.

I absolutely agree that stage is directly influenced by MK4. People saying MKX isn't going to pay the latter half of the series enough tribute are going to get their minds blown, I know it.

Unless they are going to retcon the end of MK9's story mode it wouldn't make sense to completely ignore Shinnok and his plans so im thinking they will most likely cover Shinnok in MKX in one way or another.

MK4 stages

I agree, i feel like all the stages pay homage to Mk4 so far

This stage has been in too many games already! (MK1, MK2,MKTRILOGY, MK4/GOLD, MKA,MKSM,MK9..)

Reptile had some pretty sweet bachelor digs back in the day. I never played much of 4 but there are some good ideas in there. That's the only mk that I never bought for a home console. its a shame you can't just buy it on psn because I probably would.

Of course mk4 will be covered. The comic touches on it but story mode will show it at the start before we move forward

I was a shame the Kombat Tomb was not in MK9. (Although I loved Shang's garden) I would love to see a version of the Kombat Tomb. Spiked ceiling !!

It's an excellent-looking remake of the Elder Gods MK4 stage.

I sincerely hope the Fujin and Shinnok statues are hints rather than cameos.

If this is indeed the Elder God stage from MK4, I can almost garuntee you that Shinnok and Fujin are in. If not, they will definitely be DLC.

Loved this freakin stage in MK4! Probably my favorite in that game. Music and everything. They're finally bringing it back! FINALLY!
