I don't have a link but when the story mode trailer dropped, everyone was saying a dev let it slip that it would be super obvious who the boss was after watching it. Unless a ton of people on here were just talking shit.....at work and don't have time to look up the quote.

They did, and so it is probably Shinnok. After the comic I was hoping havik or Reiko, but it honestly has to be shinnok.SPOILERS ETC I imagine, with reikos disdain for miles a and havik stating she was unnecessary, that she will in fact gain the advantage and nix reiko's role and neither will be in the game. But I'm wrong everyday, at some point.

One of them had said that in his opinion, the story trailer made the boss seem obvious. That is all.

To someone who knows who the boss is already, it is probably more obvious than it is to those of us who don't.

That said, the only two choices that seem obvious to me from the trailer are Shinnok, since he's trapped in the amulet and the amulet is the focus of the trailer, or Mileena, since she has said amulet and could theoretically use its power.

That said, I'm not saying I believe either of them will necessarily be the villain, just saying those are the two I think the trailer makes seem "obvious" to my uniformed eyes...
