Ed might be pulling our leg with this, but I just sorta found it interesting.

I remember the last stream they said that the final boss might be kind of obvious and Ed's not necessarily giving us any new information for when the next stream is. He did however show us a picture of what appears to be white noise.
Ed joked around with the user who assumed it was sailboat and responded with "Sailboat or Saibot?" (sorry I don't know how to embed tweets on here).

Since one of the stream guys joked about Havik being dis-confirmed, something tells me Noob makes it instead and takes control of Shinnoks power and takes over Hell. I think Noob being the new final boss would definitely be an interesting twist..much more so than Fire God Liu Kang, which I hope isn't the case. Its interesting enough that Noob was even a sub-boss at one point.

I believe we'll find out who the big bad is real soon, before the release actually.

Let me know what you think. Does Bi-Han have involvement with the story? I want to hear other peoples theories.

I love Noob, so I'd be happy with his inclusion in any way.

That would be a crazy complicated, intricate hint tho. Like was he posting a picture of nothing hoping someone would make a 1995 Mallrats reference and guess sailboat so he could finish the hint?

But to answer the question, I have the feeling the big bad won't be a neatherrealm related character. It'd be odd to start out the game with the big bad being Shinnok, and then move on to Kotal's rise and fall, only then to go right back to the Neatherealm for the final boss. This is more of a gut feeling than a well thought out prediction tho. Afterall Mileena seems to be attacking Kotal with the amulet in the story trailer so maybe Shinnok is released and then Noob stabs him in the back like he was planning to do in his MK9 ending (it was something like that I think). Or the soulnado made him more powerful or something like that. Who knows.

As cool as it would be if Noob got bumped up to boss status, or even if he becomes a Sub Zero again alongside Kai Liang (always loved Bi Han as sub), I would kinda miss playing him as Noob. But I guess the Dragon King was essentially Reptile so its possible for a character to become the big bad and then return to their playable status in the next game.

My best bet for the final boss at this moment in time is still either fire god Lui or Havik.

Noob Saibot would be a badass boss to deal with. Something Kuai Liang will have to face (of course he already did in MK9 so that's crosses out that rematch) but I want Hanzo to face him (after he was responsible for Noob's creation in he first place, slaying him would be one last task of redemption before he reunites with his family).

The payoff to see the boss wouldn't be worth it if it was a tag team of these two.
Maybe a sub boss but not a big bad. Maybe by themselves but I'll throw this shit in the trash if we get a fucking reskin of Noob-Smoke as the boss.

Does anyone else see the face in that tweet from boon with all the grey and black static??? Look closely at the top black line there is clearly a face with a hood on looks kind of like an assassin from assassin creed!!!!

I hope that figure coupled with the Noob hints equates to Noob being playable and the next official reveal!!! That would certainly throw that rumoured roster into disarray and make me one very happy mk faN!!!
The bottom link in my sig shows how Noob Saibot gets enough power to become the boss.

I just want Noob in the game in some capacity.

Playable, NPC, Boss, Sub Boss whatever.
I doubt Noob Saibot will be the End Boss. Because it doesn't explain the Blood Demon Mist.

If he's back I'm glad... just as long as he like he's MK9 self...
They'll never have a better Noob Saibot than MK9.

The primary outfit, the voice, the special move animations, that grab(and the laugh he does during it), the X-Ray, the fatalities, the win pose, and the fact that you could MK2 Noob/Smoke it up. Everything was top notch.

No, his name alone excuses him from being a boss and is probably not in the game. I could see him being a high possibility for DLC though.

Yeah a lot of people don't know this but Noob Saibot's name is derived from the spanish words for "Not final boss".

A boss by the name of Boon Tobias, sounds about right.

"Hi, I'm John Tobias, and I'm the final boss of this game. It's really cool to see you all again!."

It would be a surprise and someone returning, that's for sure.

Truth is, you really think chaos is created so a shadow ninja can take control or he's in hell and takes control over Shinnok? Come on, that's not even a little bit plausible. NRS has always played safe with bosses: big, possessing some kind of power, emperor / god / king / sorcerer. Don't get me wrong, it would definitely be a surprise, but they would have to make him a lot more powerful and change his story quite a bit.

Again, Noob Saibot would be an anticlimactic boss. He was nothing more than a pawn in MK9 and accomplished nothing more than getting his ass beat. Cool if he is in the game, but boss material? No

I don't understand why people can't see the big bad is obviously shinnok. They said it would be obvious. He was at the end of mk reboot and in the story trailer. It's pretty obvious he breaks out of the amulet. So stop with these retarded boss threads. Noob is not the final boss 100%

I have to say it would be poetic and awesome for Bi-Han to develope from his Mythologies story to master of the amulet. He knows about its power, he might have been scheming for years feigning to serve Quan Chi.

It could even be one of the reasons of Scorpion being more willing to help the protagonists now, so he is in the opposite side of Bi-Han.

Where the hell did they say it would be obvious? The first thing they ever said about the boss is that it would be a fun suprise. After the Mk9 ending Shinnok would be in no way a suprise.
