little bit different .. "way" instead of "reign" but I also have a feeling that he's refering to this song.

Could also mean that Boon is the King of Pain, since no matter what he does, the fans will always bitch at him. Even more true since fans bitch at him for things he hasn't done yet.

Well, I'm sure his focus is this phrase is, "King Of Pain"...maybe just bragging, or talking about the brutality of the Fatalities...OR maybe referring to a new boss?>>> who knows...lolol

Goro had a three-issue comic back in the 90's called "Prince of Pain". Clearly this is veiled reference to the fact that such amazing characters from the Malibu comics like Lance, Hydro, Sing/Sang/Siang, Bo, Abacus, Zaggot and the goddamn KOMBATANT are all gonna be in Mk9. Hell yeah!

@Shadoloo, I don't know if your biing sarcastic, but I really like several of malibu kombat characters.They are amazing compared to all the new fighters since mk 3 with few exceptions.

I wouldnt mind Stryker.

That was used in fear2 and condemned2 built by one of warner brothers studios. If you have played either of those games you will see how dark and atmospheric they were.

I didn't like the way Fear 2 or Condemned 2, looked. They had sort of a "soft" quality to them. Almost washed out, if you will. The blood in Fear 2, also looked to shiny IMO.

I don't know much about graphic engines, but I hope the team makes the visuals a lot sharper than what we've seen in past games. (Would be great if they used CryEngine3)

Now I'll admit that way back when, I wanted to see them in games as much as anybody, but for the most part we've had what they offered, but better:

Lance was a poor precursor to Jax MK3 and on, with a great big metal arm.

Hydro was another blue Lin Kuei with water powers. I really would not be surprised if Rain actually evolved out of him.

I also would hedge bets that Zaggot and Abacus paved way for the creation of Orderrealm and Chaosrealm. In any case we got Havik and Hotaru from that, so I'm more than happy with the results.

Sing/Sang/Siang is gimmicky. He looks like background fodder, someone meant to be killed during a tournament. I can't really see him an an MK game.
