During the stream when they paused the game, I noticed in the moves list is says "Easy Fatalities" , and showed the fatality commands as holding R2 and then pressing a face button.

I'm assuming that's for the dev build to show off fatalities, but do you think it could be an option, perhaps krypt unlockable ?

I don't think there are Animalities.

I think they're just set to that because it's on the stream and they don't want to fuck up the inputs or something lol. I think at events they had them set to just D2 like you had the option to do in MK4. Maybe you can access easy fatalities through a cheat menu or something like the older games.

I think (Easy Mode) was written above the 2 easy inputs. I guess it's going to be part of the option menu. If It was only for debugging or the stream they wouldn't include it in the menu.

Honestly, I don't mind this. Back in the days when the movesets were secret it was cool because people were searching for them, but now you can see the input by pressing start. It's completely meaningless. A safe way to always do one instead of pressing start at the end of each match and trying to remember the input is fine with me.

How much information have we gotten on Faction Kills? Is that like a fatality that only the winning Faction of that week gets to do/perform?

Forgive the ignorance if this has become common knowledge.

I would love one button fatalities and brutalities and the other unknown one. I am not meaning the quitality either. It is an automatic finisher anyways.

Reminds me of the PS1 cheat for MKT! That was so broken though.

I don't like easy fatalities. You should actually have to be able to do them instead of getting cool things like that handed to you.

I've never had a problem with the inputs themselves, it's the fact that there are so many of them to remember it's nearly impossible to remember them all, and I hate having to pause the game to look up the command.

I think once you perform a fatality so many times, it should become unlockable as an easy command.

Let's face it, the internet-less days of the arcades are over. The entire world will know all the commands with in the first day or two, so why make it difficult right ?

I used to love trying to figure them out. I remember the time I figured out the first input for subs freeze and then smash uppercut in mk2. It was pissing me off. I couldn't figure out the second half and I thought it was a glitch when I just kept freezing the guy. LOL. I didn't know there was a second half off that fatality until it was published in a gaming magazine.

On topic though I'm fine with easy or difficult inputs. The nostalgic part of figuring out finishers is long gone. Any person 10 or over should be able to do the most "difficult" input for a finisher. Short of amputees I guess.

I have only used those one button fatalities only for MKT(PS1) and MK4(N64)

It was weird doing it on a N64 controller so I said fuck it
