In greco: idiothes. EA has a much much larger access for development. MKD graphics are less than good, average at best, but has a good design. It would only improve. Midway is a very small company, EA could do so much more out of MK.

First of all. Try to live without being dependant on MK. Second, learn basic english grammar. Third why would it be dumb? If EA wants to make profit, he would probably buy it. Thats how they make money. And money is more important to them than the infantile opinion-wannabe conflict of one

Having thought about this somewhat, it could work. The thing is they'd need to keep Boon and Vogel on the team. They could then make up a totally new development team to work on the game engine and the rest and they could actually make something somewhat decent for the fans. If they get Tobias back too, then we'll see magic.

I think the whole story is rubbish. First, Midway is trying to go PRIVATE, with Viacom CEO Sumner Redstone buying more and more shares. Second, your story has no proof, no link, no substance or sustenance. Just full of hot air.

I think EA could take the series in a better direction, personally. Midway seems to lack any real "professionalism" or have a clear vision for the future and I think it ultimately hurts the series. I'd like to see a more capable company take over the series.

Not saying I believe the BS in the first post, however...

From looking at EA's games, I would expect an MK game from them to be more on the serious side and not funny.

Game play wise, I think it would be about the same quality because the fighting games I've played from EA aren't that great either.


I think the characters would look more realistic with EA too.

They are scanning people with lasers to make the characters look photo real.

If EA buys the franchise, the whole team will probably be under their wing. And while I can't stand EA because of it's single minded Corperate desgin, with the MK is now, it can only help. They might very well step in and do what they did with Burnout 3. EA brought that series high up in the crowd. However, this is one thing that I wouldn't be too upset if it happened, unlike the whole Half-Life publishing deal.

OH HELL NO THEY WONT ED BOON WONT LET THAT HAPPEN, (I HOPE NOT) BUT IF THEY DO I WILL NOT PLAY ANY MORE MK GAMES THAT EA MADE, AND EA IS A TEEN GAME THING LIKE SPOTS AND STUFF BUT THEY WILL NOT HANDLY BLOODY ASS GAMES LIKE THIS ONE.

U never know, if this does turn out to be true, it could turn out to be a wise move, think about what EA did with the Burnout series, and the LOTR series (Forgiving The Third Age)
SO, even if this is true, it may not be all bad, we may just have to get used to seeing the EA logo instead of Midway...

It could be a great move. Look at Burnout 3 compared to Burnout 2.
The game could be improved in many areas.

I'm just worried that if it did happen the comedy associated with MK could dissappear.

If it was up to me id give mortal kombat to Sega Am2, we'd get an incredibly violent version of virtua fighter
